Privacy Policy Last updated: May 5, 2026

Your data is never used
to train AI.

Plain English. No legalese. No asterisks. Here's exactly what we do — and don't do — with your data.

Privacy at a glance

Four things that matter most.

No AI training on your content

Your designs, captions, videos, and brand assets are never fed into AI models — ours or anyone else's. Written explicitly into our policy.

We never sell your data

We collect what we need to run the platform. We use it to improve your experience. That's it. No data brokers, no ad networks.

You're in control

Access, edit, or delete your data at any time. Close your account and we remove your personal information within 30 days.

We take compliance seriously

Full GDPR and CCPA compliance is coming soon. Regardless of your location, we don't sell your data, we don't run ads on it, and we don't train AI on your content.

How we think about privacy

There's a version of a privacy policy that protects the company.
Ours protects you.

When we built Simplified, we made a deliberate decision: the AI features in this platform would improve based on how we build them — not by harvesting what you create with them. Your social post, your caption, your video belongs to your business. We're a tool, not a landlord.

This matters more in 2026 than it ever has. Platforms are reversing policies and quietly opting users into training programs. Competitors keep adding toggles, clauses, and opt-outs that didn't exist a year ago. We don't need any of that because we never went down that road.

You're not a data point. You're the person we built this for. Treating your data with respect isn't a feature — it's the baseline.

Privacy questions, plain English answers.

No legal hedging. Real questions, real answers.

Does Simplified use my designs or content to train AI models?

No. This is written explicitly into our privacy policy: we do not use data accessed through Google Workspace APIs, or any user content, to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models. Your designs, copy, and brand assets stay yours.

Is Simplified GDPR and CCPA compliant?

Full GDPR and CCPA compliance is coming soon — we're actively working on it. In the meantime, we already uphold the core principles those regulations are built on: we don't sell your data, we don't run ads on it, we don't train AI on your content, and we'll delete your personal information within 30 days if you ask. Contact hello@simplified.com with any questions.

What data does Simplified collect when I sign up?

Account data (name, email, password or auth token), usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), content data (your designs and files — stored to power your workspace, not to train AI), and payment data handled by a third-party processor.

What happens to my data if I connect my Google account?

Google user data is not transferred to third parties except to provide or improve app functionality directly. We don't use it for advertising or AI training. You can revoke access at any time via your Google account security settings.

Can I delete my account and all my data?

Yes. Request deletion via customer support or at hello@simplified.com. We process requests within 30 days. Some data may be retained only as required by law (e.g. tax records).

Is it safe to use Simplified for client work?

Yes. Client brand assets, designs, and creative materials are protected under the same policy as your own. We don't use client content to train AI or share it with third parties. For enterprise compliance needs, contact us to discuss a Data Processing Agreement.

Your content is yours. Your data is yours.

Explicit commitment: Simplified does not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs or any user content to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Security of Your Personal Information

We protect your personal information using commercially appropriate security measures — encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls limiting which team members can access your data, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If we become aware of a security breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Active account data: Kept for as long as your account is active
  • Usage logs: Retained for a rolling period to support security monitoring and platform improvement

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

We share personal information with third parties only in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Companies that help us operate Simplified (payment processors, cloud infrastructure, analytics). These vendors are bound by data processing agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public
  • Business transfers: If Simplified is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We'll notify you before this happens.
  • With your consent: For any sharing not described here, we'll ask first.

We do not sell personal data to third parties. Ever.

International Transfers of Personal Information

Simplified operates globally. Your personal information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside your own, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Full GDPR compliance — including formal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/EEA data transfers — is coming soon. In the interim, your data is protected by the same core commitments that apply to all Simplified users: no selling, no AI training, and no unauthorized sharing.

Your Rights and Controlling Your Personal Information
