What we collect
We collect minimal information from visitors:
- Server access logs: Our web server records each request with an IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring URL, and user agent string. These logs are retained for up to thirty days for security and performance monitoring, then deleted.
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are being read. Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect IP-derived approximate geography. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google AdSense: We display ads served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Email correspondence: If you email us, your email address and message are received and read by the editorial team. We do not add you to any list. We do not share your email with third parties.
What we do not collect
We do not require user accounts. We do not have a comments section. We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any data beyond what is described above.

The cookies set on this site are set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense. We do not set any first-party cookies of our own. Your browser allows you to refuse cookies or delete them at any time through its settings.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade visitor data. We do not share visitor data with third parties beyond what Google's services receive automatically as described above. If we receive a valid legal subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request, we will comply as required by law and will provide the minimum data legally required.

If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have rights under GDPR or CCPA to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts, the most we can typically do is delete any email correspondence we have received from you on request. Email [email protected] with your request.
Children
This site is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
