Community Involvement
Bringing good energy to our communities
Serving our Communities
Community involvement is not only a top priority at FirstEnergy, it's also a way of life. Why? Because we know that the success of our company is directly linked to the investments and commitments we make to our communities.
We stand behind our philosophy that The Greater Good is Better Business, and we do so by reaching out to help our neighbors and friends, and by supporting the communities where we live and work.
In partnership with other businesses, government and the nonprofit sector, we've pledged our resources and the FirstEnergy Foundation to help make our neighborhoods and communities attractive places to live, work and do business.
We work with community leaders to cultivate and execute initiatives for civic, economic and social well-being, and our employees enthusiastically volunteer their time and contribute financial support to a variety of community efforts.
Corporate Programs
The resources of FirstEnergy and the FirstEnergy Foundation, combined with the energy and enthusiasm of our employes, benefit hundreds of organizations and thousands of people each year. Learn more about our support of two of these programs: the United Way and Harvest for Hunger.
