    eduActiv8

    eduActiv8

A collection of interactive educational exercises

eduActiv8 is a free Open Source multi-platform educational application that aims to assist in learning various early education topics - from learning the alphabet and new words, colours, time to a wide range of maths-related subjects. eduActiv8 is a continuation of the development of the pySioGame project just under a new name. It is being developed on GitHub at: https://github.com/imiolek-ireneusz/eduActiv8 but 'compiled' releases are published here. The latest version has been partially redesigned to improve usability, but certain activities will still be in the somewhat "prototype quality" - this will be gradually redesigned as time allows. Currently, it is available for Windows, MacOS, Linux and Android (you may need to allow unknown sources to install it on Android). Packages for multiple Linux distributions are available from: https://software.opensuse.org//download.html?project=home%3Aimiolek-i&package=eduactiv8 Support eduActiv8 at https://ko-fi.com/eduactiv8

    Flask Web App Tutorial

    Flask Web App Tutorial

Code for the note storing flask web app made during a YouTube video

Flask Web App Tutorial is a beginner-oriented example project that teaches how to build a small note-taking website with Python and Flask. Users can create accounts, sign in, and access notes associated with their own profile. Flask-Login provides session-based authentication and protected routes. SQLAlchemy maps user and note models to a local SQLite database. Authenticated users can create notes and remove notes that belong to their account. The project separates authentication, views, models, templates, and application initialization into a simple modular structure. It accompanies a Tech With Tim tutorial and is intended primarily as an educational reference for learning full-stack Flask fundamentals.

    BPF Performance Tools

    BPF Performance Tools

Official repository for the BPF Performance Tools book

BPF Performance Tools Book is the companion repository for Brendan Gregg’s book on Linux performance analysis using eBPF and BCC tracing technologies. The project contains scripts, examples, and reference material that demonstrate how to inspect kernel behavior, application performance, CPU usage, networking activity, file systems, and system bottlenecks in real time. It serves as both an educational resource and a practical toolkit for Linux engineers, SREs, and performance analysts working with modern observability workflows. The repository showcases how eBPF enables safe, low-overhead tracing directly inside the Linux kernel without requiring intrusive instrumentation. It includes tools for profiling, latency analysis, syscall tracing, and troubleshooting distributed systems or production environments. Overall, the project is regarded as a foundational resource for understanding advanced Linux performance engineering and observability techniques.

    Game Programmer

    Game Programmer

A Study Path for Game Programmer

Game Programmer is Milo Yip’s study path for people who want to become stronger game programmers. Rather than being a software library, it is a structured learning roadmap built around books and knowledge areas. The path covers computer science, programming languages, software development, mathematics, game programming, game engine development, computer graphics, audio, physics, animation, AI, and multiplayer networking. It helps learners understand the breadth of skills involved in serious game development beyond simply using an engine. The project is useful for self-taught developers who need a long-term curriculum and a way to identify gaps in their knowledge. Its main value is organizing a complex discipline into a visual, staged study map.

    The Art of Programming

    The Art of Programming

A collection of practical tips can be found at the bottom of this page

The Art of Programming (Second Edition) is a curated collection of programming problems and solutions originally derived from the Microsoft 100 Interview Questions blog series, later refined into a long-running tutorial and ultimately a published book. Created by July, the series began in 2010 and has since evolved into an in-depth exploration of algorithmic thinking, data structures, and coding interview preparation. The repository brings together 42 classic programming problems from the original series, enhanced with detailed explanations, formula derivations, and optimized solutions. In July 2023, work on the second edition was announced, which expands the project with updated content, new problems inspired by recent big-tech interviews, and introductions to modern machine learning techniques such as XGBoost, CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs. This collection serves both as a historical record of algorithm problem-solving and as a living resource for programmers preparing for interviews.

    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

Acoustic Simulation Library for Frequency and Time Domain Simulations.

ART is a flexible simulation framework for wind instruments. It includes a growing library of modelling elements. So far bore discontinuities, branches, tone holes, cylindrical and conical tubes, Bessel horns and bent tubes are available for frequency domain modelling. In the time domain generic bidirectional propagation elements, scattering elements, fractional delays, convolution with reflection functions and general z-domain networks are available and can be described using MuParserX expressions. Cylindrical and conical ducts can also be defined based on their geometry. Available models and their parameters can be enumerated and combined to form simulators for complex acoustical structures. Parameters can be specified symbolically by expressions containing other parameter values or global variables. Dependencies between parameters are resolved at run time. However, MuParserX expressions are compiled at design time. Zero-delay loops are detected and reported.
