    I've used FileZilla for years to manage several websites and it remains my go-to FTP client. The Site Manager is genuinely useful - saved connection profiles plus the synchronized browsing between local and remote panes save a lot of time. The transfer queue is solid, and setting a speed limit on uploads keeps them from choking my connection during work hours. Two tips for new users: turn on directory comparison (View menu) to highlight files that differ between local and server copies, and set up filename filters to skip clutter like .DS_Store or thumbnail caches when syncing. Not the prettiest app, but fast, stable, and free - hard to argue with that.

    FileZilla is a dependable FTP client that does exactly what it promises. It's perfect for quick file transfers to and from servers, and handles large uploads/downloads efficiently. Despite a dated look and some installer caution, it remains a go-to tool for developers and system admins.
