For 15 years, Simplot’s Rescue Competition has brought teams together from across our Mining and Manufacturing operations to prepare for the unexpected. This year’s event in Nampa challenged participants with real-world scenarios such as high-angle rescues and simulated structure fires. They're golden, crispy and unforgettable. Fries have earned their own holiday, and we’re proud to have played a big role in their journey! Since pioneering the development of the frozen french fry in 1946, we now have 17 potato processing plants across the globe, dedicated to producing billions of pounds of frozen potato and sweet potato products annually for our global customers. Happy National Fry Day!

Happy Canada Day! Today, we celebrate our incredible employees, valued customers, and trusted partners in Canada and around the world. Thank you for being an essential part of the Simplot community. 

Fries brought us together at Frydaho this year, but the real star was our community! From shared meals to connections with families, employees, and partners, these moments reflect what Frydaho is all about: coming together and giving back. Thank you to everyone who helped turn a day of food and fun into something more: a time for strengthening relationships and supporting the communities where we live and work.

Today we celebrate the fathers and father figures who guide, support and inspire us every day. Thank you for the wisdom, encouragement and traditions that shape our lives. Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Simplot!
