Bridgeway Boulevard serves as a critical gateway into Sausalito, California, for cyclists and pedestrians. Due to its high traffic volumes and constrained geometry, the corridor has historically experienced elevated collision rates, particularly involving vulnerable roadway users. The City of Sausalito engaged Parametrix to conduct a comprehensive safety analysis. Since then, a series of multimodal safety and operational improvements have been implemented, including: 🚗Roadway reconfiguration 🚶♀️Pedestrian refuge islands 🚲Enhanced bicycle facilities 🚦Pedestrian-activated advanced warning systems 📸: Employee-ower Mac Grosel captured the improvements from the sky.

The City of Sumner, Washington is undertaking one of the largest floodplain restoration projects in the region. The White River Restoration project will restore over 200 acres, helping to prevent flooding of nearby businesses and providing fish habitat. Parametrix is providing construction management services, working alongside Rodarte Construction Inc. and Natural Systems Design + Coastal Geologic Services. The I-15/Tropicana Interchange has received an America's Transportation Award from AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials)! 🏆 As a subconsultant to CA Group, Inc., Parametrix provided visualizations to support public outreach and stakeholder involvement. Completed last fall, the larger bridge and expanded ramps provide streamlined access for improved safety, less congestion, and ensure one of the city's busiest gateways is ready for decades of travel ahead. Congratulations to the Nevada Department of Transportation on this distinct honor!

Employee-owner Craig Sweet, CCM, EIT, recently wrapped up his term as President of Pacific Northwest CMAA. As President, he helped start a student chapter of CMAA at the University of Washington and was able to award over $60,000 in scholarships! The Ports-to-Plains Corridor is an international trade highway network that aims to improve freight movement, boost energy and agriculture sectors, and expand Interstate 27. 🚚🌾 The New Mexico Department of Transportation has selected Parametrix to lead the New Mexico portion of the Ports-to-Plains Corridor study, which includes the future Interstate 27 from the Texas state line to Raton, NM.
