Summer Camp
In summer, Camp Bernie comes alive as a traditional day and overnight camp, offering everything from classic camp adventures to Counselors-in-Training programs for our older campers. Guided by the YMCA’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, campers are encouraged to explore, take healthy risks, and reach meaningful goals, all while building resilience and “Camp Bernie Confidence” that lasts long after summer ends.
Year-Round Outdoor Education
Beyond summer, Camp Bernie operates as a vibrant Outdoor Education Center, hosting group day and overnight trips, family weekends, school vacation programs, community enrichment lessons, and private rentals. Through hands-on learning in nature and ecology, challenge courses, and team-building activities, participants of all ages strengthen collaboration, teamwork, and personal growth.
With adventurous ropes courses, scenic wooded trails, cozy all-weather cabins, a peaceful pond, and versatile meeting spaces across 247 acres, Camp Bernie offers the perfect setting for unforgettable moments—where adventure, community, and discovery meet in the great outdoors.
