The numbers reinforce what families around the world already know: Bluey combines heart, humour, and universal storytelling in a way that resonates across generations. As a true co-viewing phenomenon, the series continues to viewers together through stories that are both entertaining and meaningful. These results build on Bluey's position as the top streaming title in the U.S. in both 2024 and 2025, demonstrating the enduring power of quality entertainment to connect with audiences and drive sustained engagement. Their Majesties become Time Lords for the night ✨ Almost unbelievable. Except that is exactly what happened this evening, when Doctor Who had the distinct honour of being invited to take centre stage at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. The King and The Queen, as Head of the Commonwealth, emerged from the TARDIS to a rapturous welcome and officially opened the Games. The TARDIS may travel through time and space, but over its six decades of captivating audiences with stories and worlds of intrigue, it also has strong Scottish connections. Four Doctors - Sylvester McCoy, David Tennant, Peter Capaldi and Ncuti Gatwa - all have Scottish roots, while the iconic police box design was inspired by the work of Glasgow-born architect Gilbert Mackenzie Trench. The Commonwealth Games are one of the world's great international sporting events, bringing together more than 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories. Which feels apt, given Doctor Who is deeply defined by stories of hope, resilience and the power of connection. Which I am certain we will see plenty of over the next 11 days as the Games unfold before our eyes. My thanks to everyone across BBC Studios, the BBC and Glasgow 2026 who made this moment happen.
