Fonts Plugin is a free WordPress plugin for adding Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts (Typekit), and custom uploaded fonts to your website. You preview fonts live on your own site through the WordPress Customizer, apply different fonts to headings and body text, and save in a single click. No coding is needed.

Yes. Fonts Plugin is compatible with virtually all WordPress themes. It has been tested with every default WordPress theme, all Genesis/StudioPress themes, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery and hundreds of others. Pro includes a Force Styles option for themes that override font rules. If you hit an issue, open a support ticket and we will investigate.

Do I need to know CSS or any code?

No. Everything is point-and-click inside the WordPress Customizer. Pick a font, choose where it appears, and preview the change in real time before you publish.

Is Fonts Plugin Pro a subscription?

No. Fonts Plugin Pro is a one-time payment with lifetime updates and priority support included. There are no renewals or annual fees. Customers who bought a licence years ago still receive updates today.

The free version has a small performance cost, the same as any tool that loads extra font files. You may see a minor impact compared with using only system fonts.

Pro usually makes up for it. Selective Font Loading stops your site from downloading the weights and alphabets it does not use: the italics, the thin and black variants, the Cyrillic and Greek subsets your visitors never read. Local Hosting removes the round trip to Google’s servers, and Font Preloading gets text painted sooner. On sites where fonts are the bottleneck, that combination often makes the page faster than it was before the plugin was installed.

Does Fonts Plugin help with GDPR?

Fonts Plugin Pro addresses the specific issue. When a page loads Google Fonts the normal way, your visitor’s browser connects to Google’s servers and sends their IP address along with the request. Some EU courts have treated this data transfer as requiring consent.

Local Hosting downloads the font files to your server and serves them from your domain, so that request to Google never happens. Pro can also remove and rewrite Google Fonts loaded by your theme and other plugins, which is usually where the remaining requests come from. Whether your site as a whole is compliant depends on everything else it does, so this is one piece of the picture rather than the whole of it.

Install and activate Fonts Plugin, then go to Appearance → Customize. Open the Fonts Plugin tab, choose a font for your headings and body text, preview the result live, and click Publish. The change goes live immediately.

是否能上傳自訂字型？

Yes, and this is included in the free version. Fonts Plugin lets you upload font files in standard formats (.woff, .woff2, .ttf and .otf) and use them anywhere on your WordPress site. This is useful if you have a licensed brand font that is not available in Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts.

Fonts Plugin 是否支援 Adobe Fonts (Typekit)？

Yes. If you have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, you can connect your Adobe Fonts kit to WordPress and use any Adobe typeface on your site, alongside or instead of Google Fonts. This is included in the free version.

Does Fonts Plugin work with Elementor, Divi and other page builders?

Yes. Fonts Plugin applies fonts at the theme level, so any font you select will also appear inside Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery and the WordPress Block Editor. There is also a dedicated Gutenberg block that lets you apply Google Fonts to individual blocks within the editor. Integration guides are in the documentation.

WordPress includes a built-in Font Library under Appearance → Fonts. Fonts Plugin disables that UI because it only handles font installation and does not offer live preview, per-element typography controls, or font loading optimization. Manage your fonts in Appearance → Customize → Fonts Plugin, or open the Fonts Plugin admin page from the dashboard sidebar.
