Open Source Rust Text Editors

Outcome is a modern creative writing software developed by Scriptony Foundation. It is designed to support writers, creators, and creative projects through a structured and flexible writing environment focused on long-form creativity and organization. Outcome uses a content system based on contents, blocks, and elements, allowing projects to remain modular and manageable while writing novels, stories, scripts, poems, notes, and other creative works. The software is designed with future extensibility in mind, including planned collaboration features, analysis tools, offline AI support, publishing workflows, and creative project management systems. Outcome aims to provide an accessible and community-focused platform without mandatory subscriptions while supporting privacy-conscious and offline-capable workflows.

OpenTheBook is a free, lightweight desktop reader for PDF, EPUB, AZW3, and MOBI files. It is intentionally not a book library: install it, double-click a book, and read. No account, no clutter, no cost. First release targets Windows and Ubuntu/Linux.
