Experiment Lab Trending in Ugunja, Siaya, Kenya at Kijiji Yeetu Africa Network Yeetu. Importantly Underserved communities acquire digital skills, confidence, and digital transformation through Community Centered Connectivity and #CommunityNetworks Investing in Digital Transformation reached 3,000 people, connected 15 schools, and enabled 2,000 pupils to adopt digital learning approaches. Over 600 underserved individuals gained digital skills, including 300 youth advancing coding, robotics, and climate justice, while 200 women created new digital opportunities; unlocking abilities, empowerment, and resilience through technology. We generated income from internet as sustainability approach. Kijiji Yeetu Africa Network, a licensed last‑mile internet service provider, is navigating the socio-tech and telecommunications pathway. Many #CommunityNetworks struggle to raise capital, build referral systems, and learn through ICT regulatory and licensing processes. Our Story has practice and documentation. Ugunja, Siaya, has seen improved connectivity through 50 trained wardens, benefiting over 2,500 residents. Participation among 200 women increased due to digital skills. Digital learning is now accessible to 15 schools and 2,000 pupils, who participate in digital literacy skills and coding games focusing on social issues. Local traders benefit from the digital economy, with underserved communities utilizing their skills and knowledge. Kijiji Yeetu has relied on social intelligence of other community networks that pioneered CNs in Tanda Community Network, Kibera; Dunia Moja Community Network, Kilifi; and Aheri Basic Internet Limited (AHERINet), Kisumu. Kijiji Yeetu, working with the next generation community networks, GONLINE AFRICA Athi Community Network CBO Techvillage community Network, Oasis Mathare Global Innovation Valley (GIV) Namelok Wireless can move from experiments to being part of the national broadband strategy and equipment supply. The lesson endures: documentation is proof. By recording each small win, Kijiji Yeetu shows that last‑mile connectivity is not only about cables and signals but also about people becoming their own experts and proving that forgotten communities can thrive when given the chance.

At Teltonika Networks Kenya offices, Eng. Alphonce Odhiambo of GONLINE AFRICA and Dr. Hawi Rapudo MSc.GPS of Kijiji Yeetu Africa Network start a innovative grassroot frontier for Lake Basin Digital Network. Our host Michael Oluoch helped us understand how we could invest in Innovation Experiment Design Lab. CN‑EDL will improve connections in primary schools and rugged terrains of #CommunityNetworks, train net engineers, reduced latency by 40%, and boost undeserved communities access hours. CN‑EDL will be a living showroom, proving grade routers and RMS solutions under real African conditions, empower citizens, and drive #DigitalTransformation.
