Atlassian CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes tells me a Q4 that sent shares up 30%+ shows AI is lifting enterprise software, not gutting it. Revenue rose 28% to $1.8B, cloud grew 31%, and ARR accelerated to 23%. He cast Atlassian's "teamwork graph" as the moat, cutting token use up to 48% by feeding models a company's context. He also predicted most firms will run three to five knowledge graphs. Its Rovo AI blends models via a gateway to cut cost. Full Fortt Knox conversation linked in the comments:

OpenAI's Codex agents are built to run in clean, isolated sessions. Spin up, do the work, tear down. That disposability is a feature. Code lands in your repo, but the context needs a permanent home ➡️ Jira. OpenAI Symphony now integrates with Jira as your system of record. While sessions are ephemeral, every plan, comment, and review stays pinned to the work item. Nothing gets lost between runs. Check the ticket, see what the agent did and why, and decide what ships. Manage the work, not the session. Live now for Codex + Jira. Link in comments.

We’re thrilled to welcome Ken Exner to the team as our new Chief Product Officer for Enterprise & Emerging business. Let's go!

This week, I joined Atlassian as Chief Product Officer for the Enterprise & Emerging business. I’m 48 hours into my new role and I couldn't be more excited. I’ve spent much of my career building developer tools, operational tools, cloud platforms, and the systems that help teams do their best work. Because of that, Atlassian has long been a company I admired. What makes this moment especially compelling is the shift happening with AI. Over the past several years, I’ve spent a lot of time working on context engineering: how AI systems find, understand, and use the right context to reason and act. I believe the next generation of AI systems will depend heavily on enterprise context: the work artifacts, workflows, decisions, relationships, and operational data that exist inside every company. Atlassian sits directly on top of that context. Its software captures how teams plan, build, support, and operate -- not just what they produced, but how work actually happens. That creates a rare opportunity. It means Atlassian is moving beyond helping teams track and route work, toward systems that help teams get work done -- humans and AI agents working together, grounded in shared context. I think it's one of the most interesting product opportunities in software right now. Thank you to Mike Cannon-Brookes and the Atlassian team for the opportunity. I’m looking forward to learning from the team, meeting customers, and helping build what comes next.

For everyone who’s ever been asked to "pull data real quick," Jess Ramos⚡️ has the solution to at least one of your corporate pet peeves.👇

Here are my top 4 corporate pet peeves. As a corporate baddie out here fighting for my life with stakeholders. 1: when someone asks you to export a dashboard to a spreadsheet. Like why did you make me make and design a whole dashboard if you just wanted to export it back to rows and columns. 2: when stakeholders ask if I can “pull this data real quick”. Sir, there’s nothing quick about pulling millions of rows of data across 3 different systems that don’t talk to each other. 3: Meetings that should be emails. No explanation needed here. 4: when you write up a 10 page analysis and then someone asks if you can make it more visual. I’m a data analyst not a graphic designer… If you struggle with the last one, you need to Remix with Rovo. It takes any content in Atlassian Confluence, like bullet points or a block of text and turns it into a chart, a timeline, an infographic. The best part is that the original document stays exactly the same, it just layers the visual on top… and pages with visuals are nearly 2x as likely to be read! You can quickly choose which remix option you want, or describe what you want in your own words and it'll build it for you. So you're only creating it once and just adapting it for every audience without rebuilding anything from scratch. This is truly what it’s like using context and an AI layer in the corporate world to be more efficient. And your stakeholders will thank you (maybe haha). Remix with Rovo is in beta now. Try it today!!! https://go.atlss.in/txqvdm #AtlassianPartner #RemixwithRovo #ad

  • One of the most underrated skills in data has nothing to do with SQL, Python, or statistics. It is knowing how to explain the same analysis to completely different audiences. Your data science team may want the experiment design, confidence intervals, segment-level results, and limitations. Your director or VP usually wants 3 answers: - Did it work? - What are the risks? - Should we launch? Normally, that means spending hours rebuilding the same analysis for a different audience. With Atlassian Remix with Rovo in Confluence, I can turn detailed analysis into a leadership-ready visual in seconds, while keeping the full analysis intact for anyone who wants to dig deeper. Not only can you remix specific content on a page, but you can also remix content to go from a page to slides in seconds. The analysis stays the same, but the way you communicate changes. Remix with Rovo is now in beta, try it yourself: https://go.atlss.in/7c200y If you work in data, what is your biggest tip for presenting the same analysis to different audiences? #ad #AtlassianPartner #remixwithrovo

Atlassian has been named a Leader across a remarkable NINE Gartner and Forresterr evaluations this past year! That includes four consecutive years now in Gartner’s DevSecOps research, with the 2026 DevSecOps Magic Quadrant® placing us highest in “Ability to Execute.” Seeing these wins all together validates a long-held bet: the future of software delivery wouldn’t be won by generating code faster, but by giving entire teams – humans and agents both – the shared context, platform and trust to ship safely at scale. Very proud of the teams who work hard every day to deliver real value to our customers!
