There are quite a lot of things in java.nio. What about splitting it up into an article series containing articles about:

• How to use java.nio.files.Path/What are the differences to java.io.File/What does the java.nio.files.Files class do?
• Channels/Buffers
• FileSystem/similar less commonly used operations.

I did not aim for a comprehensive treatment of java.nio. Channels and file systems are really specialized. My plan is to cover the kind of file I/O that is common for most programming tasks: reading and writing text files either as String or list/stream of lines, reading/writing byte arrays, temp files, etc. If someone else wants to write an advanced article, that's great too.
