We are pleased to announce the promotion of Prem C. to General Manager Amangalla. Lying within the ramparts of Sri Lanka’s 17th-century Galle Fort, Amangalla stands as a historic residence with Fort and harbour views on one side and the hotel’s lush green gardens on the other. Prem's inspirational Aman journey began in 2017 as Executive Housekeeper at Amanbagh in Rajasthan, India. He quickly became a valued contributor across our South-Asian properties, moving between Sri Lanka and India. In 2022, Prem stepped into the role of Acting Resort Manager at Amangalla before taking on the same position at Aman-i-Khas and subsequently transitioning to Amanwella. Most recently, Prem returned to Amanbagh as Resort Manager, where he also successfully completed ELEVATE, our Leadership Development Programme for senior leaders. We look forward to seeing how he and the team continue to cultivate the spirit of Aman in the Fort city.

We are pleased to announce two promotions in our Indonesia properties. Noemí Pérez and Tshewang Norbu are both expanding their responsibilities, transitioning to Area General Manager roles across the region. Noemi, General Manager of Amanjiwo, joined Aman in November 2024. She will now also lead Amanwana, the tented camp set along the beach-fringed bays of Moyo Island in the Flores Sea, in addition to overseeing the region’s luxury train journey and private yacht voyages. Tshewang, General Manager of Amandari, began his journey with Aman in 2002 as a Management Trainee across Amanusa, Amandari and Amankila. Over two decades, Tshewang progressed as a leader at Amankora and Amantaka before returning to Amandari as General Manager in 2025. In his expanded role, Tshewang will also oversee the property where his Aman story began, Aman Villas at Nusa Dua, our retreat on Bali’s southernmost peninsula, renowned for its golden beaches, ocean-side temples and frangipani-scented hillsides.
