African filmmakers tell bold stories on climate justice

Working with filmmakers from across Africa, DW Akademie supported the development of 30 documentaries on climate issues.

In partnership with STEPS, DW Akademie helped develop 30 documentaries on issues related to climate change.These projects were given grants and filmmakers received training and mentorship from other African filmmakers. The filmmakers came from 21 countries, building a network of filmmakers that stretches across the continent.
