Egy RHEL 5.6-on szerettem volna VLAN-onkat konfigurálni az egylábú
(eth2) bond3 interfészen.
A kernel 2.6.18-238.el5 verziójú.
Nem találtam egyértelmű és értelmes dokumentációt, hát gugliztam.
Az egyik helyen pl. azt írták, hogy lehet natív VLAN is, a másikon azt,
hogy ez nem fog menni.
Kísérletezgettem, próbálgattam. Egyre több lett a hiba.
Most, ahogy abbahagyom, ezeket az interfészeket nem lehet sem törölni,
sem életre lehelni:
13: bond3.5: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,MASTER> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue
link/ether 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

De például a bond3.10 jól szuperál. Ifup-ra feláll, ifdown-ra eltűnik.
Pár példa:
# ifdown bond3.87
# ifdown bond3.5
# ifdown bond3.4

Utána minden marad a régiben.
A hibaüzenet egyébként innen ered:
# /sbin/vconfig rem bond3.4

Avagy:
# ifup bond3.5
ERROR: trying to add VLAN #5 to IF -:bond3:- error: Invalid argument
ERROR: could not add vlan 5 as bond3.5 on dev bond3
# ifup bond3.87
ERROR: trying to add VLAN #87 to IF -:bond3:- error: Invalid argument
ERROR: could not add vlan 87 as bond3.87 on dev bond3
# ifup bond3.4
Device eth2.4 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

Nem sok tapasztalatom van e téren. A vconfig és az ifenslave nem segít.
Van még ezen kívül szóba jöhető program?
Azt se tudom mihez kapjak, mit kérdezzek. :-(
Mit lehetne még kipróbálni?
Nem. A bootolás sajnos nem opció.
