Mathias,
Thanks for providing this download and maintenance utility. I've created a news item and added it to the FAQ.

Subject: [GnuWin32-Users] Re: Automated download: Maintain a small but complete local package list
Hello GnuWin32 List
The utility to automatically download and maintain a gnuwin32 package list as well as to extract it is now available as a self extracting archive under
http://members.tcnet.ch/michaelis/gnuwin32/GetGnuWin32.exe
The main advantage of this form is that it is smaller (!) than a ZIP file, because I can use WinRAR, another compression method that is more efficient than ZIP, but probably less known.
You may also download
http://members.tcnet.ch/michaelis/gnuwin32/GetGnuWin32.md5
to test the authenticity of the GetGnuWin32.exe. The file GetGnuWin32.md5 contains the text output of
md5sum.exe GetGnuWin32.exe
where md5sum.exe can be downloaded from one of the following places:
http://etree.org/cgi-bin/counter.cgi/software/md5sum.exe http://theopencd.sunsite.dk/md5sum.exe http://www.people.virginia.edu/~dpc2a/cdr/md5sum.exe http://openwebmail.lagmonster.org/download/redhat/archive/md5sum/md5sum.exe http://www.2bright.net/download/md5sum.exe http://www.fourmilab.ch/md5/md5.zip http://downloads.activestate.com/contrib/md5sum/Windows/md5sum.exe
