The 4th of July

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Independence Day. We started the day by attended the parade on the Marietta Square. Sadie and her parents joined us!








The parade was so much fun and the weather was perfect. It was the coolest July 4th that anyone could remember.
When the parade was over we went home to rest up for our big evening. We were so excited to get back to the Square because several more of our friends were joining us. We ate dinner and then played for about 3 hours while we waited for it to get dark enough for the fireworks to start. Sadie joined us again as well as Bennett, Alexander, Max, Maddie, Noah, Sailer, and several more friends. We spent most of the time marching around in our own parade, but we also played with chalk and sparklers. It was great!

Bentley Turns 3!

We love any reason to eat birthday cake at our house. So of course we got Bentley a doggie cake for his third birthday. It was so yummy!

Princess Tea Party Day Camp

My First (and last) Visit to the Police Station

Last week we met some friends at the Fire Station for a behind the scenes tour. All the kids had so much fun so this week we did the same thing at the Police Station. It was really cool and we learned a lot. We toured the building, learned about the detectives, sat in a squad car, saw the SWAT tank, and even got to spend a little time in the slammer!

Cheerleading Camp

Last week I attended Cheerleading Camp at Harrison High School. It was the BEST CAMP I HAVE EVER ATTENDED!!!! It was so awesome and I loved it. The cheerleaders that taught the camp were so much fun and we learned all about cheering! Every day we wore different themed clothing and we learned how to have great team spirit. At the end of each day of camp the coaches gave out a wooden, bone shaped, Spirit Bone to the camper with the most spirit that day. The squads were broken up by age groups and there was one Spirit Bone given out to each age group. That evening the camper that got the bone took it home to decorate it. Then they brought it back the next day and the next girl with the most spirit would do the same thing.
On the last day of camp all the cheerleaders put on an hour-long spirit ralley for the parents to come and watch. Each of the squads did a performance and then the Harrison High School Cheerleaders did one. It was awesome! At the very end of the Spirit Ralley the Spirit Bones were given out to the campers with the MOST spirit all week. Guess What???? I got the spirit bone!!! Mommy almost had a heart attack because she was so proud of me! We had been practicing all week after camp and it really worked!

Noah's Birthday Party

Mommy and I have been seriously slacking on blog posts lately! We have been very busy since school ended.
This past weekend we went to Noah's 5th birthday celebration. Here are just a few pictures from all the fun.

Preschool Graduation

Here I am right before the graduation. I was sooo excited!

Here I am right after my name was called. I was so excited to cross the stage for my diploma.
My teacher, Mrs. Jennifer, handed my my diploma and then Collin handed me my Bible.

After the ceremony the graduates got to parade thru the halls while everyone cheered and congratulated us! It was so fun to see everyone proud of us!

We had a nice reception after the ceremony for all the graduates and their families. The cake was HUGE!
After that we came home for the real party! It was so great to have everyone there to celebrate my big day with me and enjoy some delicious cake:) I had an amazing 3 years in preschool, but I am really excited and anxious to start kindergarten in the Fall!
