Design Wall Monday

Much the same as last week, except the rows are sewn together and borders added to top and bottom. This one is my H2H quilt and needs to be finished this week, so I'll surely have a finished quilt to show soon!

Hands 2 Help

I finished my Hands 2 Help quilt, well, except for a label.

The quilting is Hearts and Roses panto and I just love it.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put on my label, but I'll find out. I don't know what I was thinking, but I was sure it would be wide enough and my original plan was to use only the medium mauve as the borders. But, alas, it wasn't even close to the 60" square recommended size. So, it got another border.

Design Wall Monday

I got most of the rows together on my Hands2Help quilt while piecing the next Scrap Squad quilt. A half tumbler on each end of the rows and a border and it's done! I got the idea for this from Kathie's blog.

I meant to start on Carole's 1930's bluework quilt, but instead loaded and quilted this cute quilt of Janets. It's just a cheater flannel fabric, but how cute!

Leaders and Enders, and Tips!

I'm busy working on my Scrap Squad quilt and am finding that I need lots of Leaders and enders. So, I got out my tumbler die for my Go Cutter and have the blocks cut for my Hands2Help quilt. When I finish chain piecing a row of the scrap squad quilt, I stitch two of the tumblers together. Hopefully, I will finish 2 quilts at the same time.

If you were at Paducah and went to the Eleanor Burns show, you'll see that I'm taking her advice......LEAVE THOSE TIPS HANGING!
