Vermicomposting

Using earthworms as bait when i went prawning with the girls gave me an idea. Why dont i rear them?

This might sound like a really crazy idea but after doing some research, i really like the idea of setting up a vermicompost!

FYI: Vermicompost is the product or process of composting utilizing various species of worms, usually red wigglers, white worms, and earthworms to create a heterogenous mixture of decomposting vegetable or food waste, bedding materials and vermicast. [Vermicast: Worm shit]

Fantastic right? I can have fun and also increase environment awareness in my home. The last time i did something like this was when i started to recycle all unwanted paper instead of throwing them into the bin. Not to mention that the unwanted paper could be sold to the garang guni for extra bucks! Yay!

So here i am, doing my own research online and searching for suitable bins to store my future wormies! XD

Dreadfulness @ Work

I used to be a more happy and joyful person. Till recently....

The workload and hours are increasing exponentialy till I even had to work a 11.5hr shift last Monday. Which left me feeling extremely fustrated for the rest of the week.

I still feel very fustrated....

Besides... Two years is almost up. Finally... After tolerating all this crappy for so long. I don't think I can stands another day there anymore...

Work and People

I have come to realise that no one else, other than my colleagues, understand my (or rather, our) working environment.

Put your freaking legs into my shoes for once.

Imagine working shifts - morning or afternoon.
Imagine not being able to plan what you want to do in December during weekends.

I can't!
I only get my schedule for next month at the end of the month. Life is that unpredictable.

A person who doesnt work or have a proper job would never understand whats going on. NEVER.

So scram. I give up talking to you already.

Hectic Working Hours = Less time for friends and family
Mad Rush for TAT @ Work = Less energy for anything else
Breathing in Bioharzardous waste = Shortening my life span
No fixed lunchtime/dinnertime daily = Higher chances of developing gastric?

Therefore, this job is LITERALLY killing me; PHYSICALLY and SOCIALLY

Zoo Outing

Went to the zoo with womans today.
[Womans = Asilah, Eunice, Kar, Ling and Shan]

Had to buy 2 extra tickets as the card Kar had from her company only allowed free entrance for 4 pax.

Monkey thats residing near the enterance. This is definately one of the rare shots as i did not have a good zoom lens in hand.

Otters! Definately one of my favourite animals. XD

Fed the manatee. Gosh, this thing really has a lot of hair and has a really wierd teeth arrangement.

Last but not least, my favourite place! THE PETTING ZOO! Too bad it has gone through so much changes that it looks more like some haunted house rather than a nice place that welcomes children.

Malacca Trip

Went to Malacca from the 1st to the 3rd.

The not-so-awesome hotel that we stayed at. Then again it was pretty okay, except that fact that when we were there there were some problems with their toilet flushing system. Eww.... don't want to start to imagine.

Old buildings. Then again, nothing surprising. Its Malacca - a kinda old historic town.

Awesome decorations on the wall of the buildings.

Yummy milk crabs. SUPER expensive though.
