Better than good is when you greet your man at the airport after a long six weeks and after the first kiss he says "I'm changing my flight tomorrow, no way is 4 days long enough" - I think it's finally sinking in that Vegas really is here for another week and not leaving on Monday.

Mother Nature is putting on quite a show right now for him though... end-of-January siberian cold with blowing winds and a blanket of icy snow on the ground, how's that for a greeting party? Meh. No matter, we went shopping for warm clothes yesterday so it's all good.
The sun is bright and the rest can be dealt with - mmm chili on the stove right now, that should cure any hangovers from last night's wine binge. Ohhh lordy! Grenache Riche is the way to goooo!
Tomorrow is lunch with the gang in a neighborhood bistro, not everyone's heard about the "dog boy" story (ah-hem), then we both have Monday off for more relaxing and... catching up on lost time. As much as LDR's suck and are really hard, well the rewards are fucking amazing if you're with the right person.
And I am. Finally.
