Scribbling

As a writer, there are so many interesting projects I want to do, so much I want to write, yet so very little time. (not a cliche at all!)

October is one such month with so many different projects I want to get my teeth into. And because I don't want to miss any deadlines, I've given myself a task list to keep up with these writing projects.

The first of these is to write the romantic suspense novel of around 50,000 words, so this morning, I've worked up a storyline, and I'm going to develop characters and plot throughout the rest of the day. Unfortunately, I don't have all week to work on this non-stop, as the day job and other commitments are going to interfere - therefore, no set word goals - just writing when I can sit at my desk.

Deadlines/projects for October in order of date due:

  1. Draft romance novel.
  2. 28th October - Sweet and soothing short story <2000 words
  3. 29th October - Short story <1000 words
  4. Travel writing feature
It's enough to keep me busy for a bit!
