That happens because the string is too large to fit the
label. Instead of trimming the label down, it actually
expands the label to fit the string. What would you have it
do in this case? An error? A warning? Not expand beyond the
original size?

Yeah... I think is because is the string too long, but I
think it's suppose to be centered the static control....
I think that's the poblem....no errors or warnings, the
string isn't just centered.

It's centered, but the label grows to fit the text. Being
centered in this case means it trims equally from both sides
to fit the label. However, when the string is too large, it
expands equally from both sides instead.
