Refreshing the events updates.

First, coming up this Friday, June 19th (Juneteeth!  Hurray!)   I will be at the Lakewood Barnes and Noble store with Peter Orullian and Terry Brooks.  Peter, Terry and I will be chatting about books and celebrating the launch of a new book, SONGS OF THE DEAD, co-written by Peter Orullian and Brandon Sanderson.  We will get started at 6 PM.  There will be an opportunity for questions and for getting your books signed.  I hope to see lots of readers there.  That B&N store is a really nice one.  Come early and browse!

Then on Thursday,June 25th, I will be in Lehi Utah, at Lehi High School at 6 PM.  Poppy Books is sponsoring the launch of Ryan Cahill's new book THE FALL.  With Ryan and me will be Brandon Sandesron.  This is a ticketed event, so you might want to act fast. For Tickets   We will chat about fantasy, and afterwards, Ryan and I will sign books.  Signed Brandon Sanderson books will also be available.

I hope to meet lots of readers!  Plan now!

How to Get a Signed Book?

A selection of Trade Paper backs of Robin Hobb books on a table.

This question comes up from time to time, and thanks to Shawn Speakman, there is now an easy answer.  At The Signed Page website, there is a Robin Hobb bookstore.

At that site, you can purchase in print US editions of any Hobb book, and Shawn will ship them anywhere.  If you want them autographed, or if you want a simple inscription, simply include a note to that effect when you order the books.

Shipping will, of course, vary depending on where you live.

It's that simple.

I do request that you be very precise if you want an inscription.  Please don't ask for 'Robin's favorite quote from the book.'  If you have q quote you like, print out what it is and I will put it in the inscription.  And I do hope you will be kind to my rapidly declining hands, and keep the requested inscription  to a couple of sentences or less.

One request that always leaves me puzzled.  "Please sign this to 'My darling husband Benny, with thanks for all the joy you have given me.'  Just an example of course, but I'd like to just sign it "To Benny.  Best wishes, Robin Hobb."  And when the book reaches you, you can put in that more personal inscription!

That's it.  Oh, one final request.  If you are discovering how to get a signed book here at my website, please let Shawn know that is where you found the information.
