i was 14 when we organized a play based on this movie, we created the script, costumes and watched the movie over and over again to get the feelings.
...... tale as old as time.....
i was mrs. potts - voiced over by angela lansbury - who i adored so much in murder, she wrote. mom's favorite. and now mrs. potts is played by emma thompson in the new adaptation. my best friend uma was lumiere - i think because she was tall and talkative, i still remember her in yellow pants and white t-shirt, holding candles - as comic as in the cartoon. darmin, the nasa engineer was gaston and shanti, played belle, who is equally beautiful and smart.
i don't really remember who were the beast, the cupboard, chip and the rest. i guess, i'm just getting old and restless, need to catch up with the classmates cause the last reunion we had was in 2009.
