dear daisy,
what makes shakespeare and mozart so overwhelm in this city that never rocks, when half of the population doesnt read or speak english. i've been pondering the question ever since i woke up until this late, especially during my day strolling along a few roads that full of european style of coffee shops, breathing lavazza aroma that came with a package of jazz-ling feeling. the lights were always dim with golden sparkle from sleek, varnish coating of the wood flooring. day by day, korea is losing its charm and identity. she is becoming more english despite the language. there are more starbucks and coffee bean than kimbab chonguk around seoul vincinity. mcdonalds and burger king are everywhere. pieces of monet, gogh, sisley, warhol and picasso can be seen in every corner of restaurant, bookstore and gallery. it stumped me in a while to get the whole picture wheather i am residing in an english country that blend with u.s and european style.
it was a nice morning to begin, with cotton white banks of cloud with falling ray from silvery ocean blue sky. I had a banana juice and chores all done before i started my pace to the wonderful day that i became a part time "food conneseiur". it was in a while that i had nothing in my mind but to pick up something that is beyond routine. when calculating calories and energy burns became part of daily math, eating out at random can be a total suicide, especially when dealing with a surrounding that full of slender, average 26 inch waist figures.
the day before i had doughnuts with munchkins of all flavor from bavarian to blackberry, coffees to sedate my nerves and completed the three major meals of the day. it was a heaven sent sign, to this autumn when the trees will start falling its golden crispy leaves. a sign of melancholy that leads to a significant weight increase, a manic sky rocketing figure that latter might be too stubborn to shed off. it didn't matter anyway. i'm not destined to fit in the letter S. meanwhile at the bright side, i had a good breakfast, a nice afternoon meal with latte, kebab for the snack between meal and a subway's sandwiches for late dinner. right now i am stuffed with a jackpot belly and a good feel about it.
it was astounding at a certain point that food really can make someone feel good. like in the movie when harry meet sally at the famous taco bell scene where meg ryan faked her uuh uuh thing.
food is definetely inspiring, sexy and alluring.
food also can make you fat and suffer from it.

i came across an autobiography of nora ephron this evening. it is a book about a woman who enjoys her shopping spree with her bestfriend and regard prada is not just a handbag..because it's prada. (something like in the white-chick) she is the scriptwriter of my all time favorite "you've got mail" and romantic comedies. i remember reading the part where she travelled from paris to new york for shopping, a something that men wouldn't understand. it was almost a month ago, during my last visit to the bookstore. on my first encounter with the book today, i had an immense memory of paris - where i laid my lazy, gazed at the eiffel and the sky with paprika chips smear on my right hand. it was a thought of an accomplishment from my wishful thinking, almost as the same way as ephron's compassion about her prada.
dear daisy,
i love day dreaming, it opens up my window to see the world clearly and comes with a side effect from heavy terminal breakdown and frustration when the dreams are far cry to reach.
in "when harry meet sally" a girl and a guy can't never be friends because the sex will always be the subject that comes between their way. however, on the other hand - this can never be always true due to the fact of different cultural and faith believes.
"love" is the matter of the subject. a guy and a girl can't be best friends. one of them is doomed to fall in love and leave the subject unattained.
i hope a cup of cappucino will help me to soothe my thinking about it. worse, i can't sleep. i had too much sedative for the week.
i don't want to put my mistakes into an account. especially when i already met someone. i'm anticipated to start a new one, with a nice breakfast and a cool cooking hat. (only he knows what i am talking about)
it's life. and love is the universal language.
you never knows.
see you later, alligator.
