Lost in the Garden of Earthly Delights

Monday - Just Another Manic One As a Result of Sleeping With Prince

Much of the day is spent preparing and dispatching amended proofs to Ken at Printing.com. We arrive at a mutally punctuated guide with much assistance from Suzanne and Mo who've been good to work with on this thing. At least someone kept me from having the screaming ab dabs.

Reminders from Shan about Tuesday and my impending trip to Oldham. Another 'RSS and Blogging for CAS' gig. Print out the goodies and use the extremely difficult to handle thermal binder.

News is a pig because I was a lazy bastard all weekend. Shame on me. Home, feed Monst in a hurry, get her to work, collapse in a heap....

Tuesday

Up at an outlandish hour which is good news because it gives me the opportuity to transfer 'Carrie's War' to the Archos and get on top of the news. Big question for the day is where the fuck is Oldham. Thing is I know I've been through it before and know there are looming Pennines but I can't place it. Tracy comes to the rescue with timings etc. News and meaningful stuff is done before a 10:30'ish exit. I want time to check out what works on the computers at the other end.

If your doing training, do it at the gaff of the family Addison. Seriously, you get a good welcome, choice of teas, choice of coffee and fun conversation thrown in. Blinklist fell over which is a shame because people could tell how much I love the thing. Think they got the message that it is a good thing. Blogger was blocked as Adult but Wordpress to the rescue. Lucy came away with a cunning plan to use My Update so a cool day all round and unusually I had more people arrive than were expected. Kinda fun. The other thing is I got to F (Fat Lenny) on an A-Z listen to the collected works of Heavenly.

Home, feed myself, Monst in from dropping the boy at Beavers. Pick him up and drag Monst to work. The boy wants her to walk, I recon it's about a 3 hour walk from home or a 21 minute drive! No contest. Back at home wash the boy's hair, put him to bed, record 'Shoebox Zoo' and plan on settleing down with 'Life on Mars'.
