It's official: We'll be spending a week in June in a beach house in Oregon so that the twins can celebrate their second birthday with their paternal grandparents. This will be the girls' first big trip away from home (including their first flight) -- so my excitement at the prospect of a beach-house vacation is tempered with a bit of trepidation. Wish us luck.You have missed your last chance to see the Chicago Chamber Choir in concert for the '06-'07 season. Yesterday was our final concert, and I think it was the best of the batch.
The twins' physical therapist called Evelyn a spatial genius. Like I need medical professionals to tell me about the girls' geniushood -- but it is gratifying nonetheless.
April is indeed the cruelest month. I'm ready to send it on its way.
So much to get done! Back to work for me.

Wow, Kel! A week at a beach house sounds lovely. I'm sure the girls will be fabulous travelers. I'm sorry I missed your last couple shows. I'll definitely try to make it to the next one!
I wish I could celebrate all my birthdays at a house on the beach! Don't be worried, your little geniuses will adapt beautifully! Two already! Amazing.

The house looks lovely. And the location is gorgeous. I love Oregon.
I can't believe those girlies are two already. But I'm not surprised that they show signs of higher intelligence.
What I wouldn't give for the beach right about now!
We don't have a beach house, but we have a rolling guest house that even has sattelite TV.
Soon we hope to have the family room redone and freed of all signs that cats have ever been in there.
When that happens, we'll have a nice bath, a nice guest room, a motor home, and a family room for you and Airan and the girls to have some privacy.
I can't wait to have you guys come here, but we're not quite ready yet.
When you do come, brace yourselves. The whole clan will come out to meet you.
