engagement & trashing session for Tony & Karen
Here is a session of engagement & trashing for Tony and Karen. They are simply an amazing and beautiful couple. I really like to work with them so much. As they are really prepared for the beautiful session and were really cooperative being in photographing. Karen told me that she wanted to wear a white dress which I really agreed on which was beautiful and not only the white dress but a beautiful white bridal gown which was left for her by her sister that she have kept for years and waited for this beautiful session.
Here are some of my favorites:-
She just so amazing!!! I love the simple white dress on her...

Beautiful moments here...play time !

I love how the mysterious image here that portraits her personality...

What an amazing bridal gown!

She is ready for some trashing!

What intimacies here! Love them so much!

This is just so outstanding!!!

Some wider shots...

Just to relax for awhile... I simply love the feeling of this picture

Let's get some trashing actions...

Love artistic shot...

So Sweet of Tony, temperature of the water was real cold...

Take a look at Yee Cheng version of the same session, which I think they are amazing!

I have almost forgotten about this picture that I took two years back, and today while I was searching for some tourism's sites about Malaysia , I saw my photograph appeared on the page (Gan Sur Theng).

sharing with creative focusing and picture mood
This picture is taken from the series of Ain Sahat.
What has brought the attention to this picture? Not only composition plays an extensive value to your pictures but focusing the correct subject seems to be essential as well. Our human eyes immediately will tend to focus on the sharpest part of a picture stating the subject of focused. Normally, for any portrait session, the model's eyes are the crucial to be focused to show the connection to the person viewing the picture. However, many artistic focusing can be achieved just by paying a little more creativity while snapping the picture. In this instance, I focused on the scarf which was laid on her head, and with wide aperture creating beautiful depth of view to this picture, just creates mysterious and softness effects to the model's face.
Before
Creating mood with colors and textures have always been my tools with editing. I added simple vignette to the picture, and also a thin layer of texture to the picture and by selective removed unwanted textures by using the eraser tool with different opacity over the texture layer on top of the editing picture just to reveal important elements of the picture itself.
I will be having a photo sessions real soon in coming weeks, as for I was too busy over many things; sorry for the wait till I will post many more interesting sessions...

a toughjeans bag for myself...
Saw this awesome bag yesterday and got it to my closet!
I love the long rectangular shape of the bag, and the graffiti on the bag is just simply cool...

The leather hand strap allows me to hang the bag on my shoulder just immediately boosted up the marks for this bag

And I simply adore the street style fashion sometimes!

a special project - break away to Nothern Thailand 2008 - Part 8 (Long neck village)
I had great times from my breakaway to Northern Thailand 2008, what has brought me most interest for this vacation was the visit to the Long neck village in Chiang Rai. Although the village has been customized for the intention of tourism, I still find much to know from the hill tribes especially their clothing, daily routines, handcrafts, their foods and their cultures. They are a few tribes that are living together with the Long Neck Tribe in the village and they are very remarkable.
It is sad that language was the main barrier for me, and what I know about the village was purely from my observations. I really hope that I could speak to them so that I can know them better in person. Harmonious lifestyle has always been my dream, as for life without internet, cameras, and shopping will just kill me instantly! Even though I enjoyed my visit there, but living in a village like this just isn’t my type.
Further to that, I would really want to pay a visit to a village which is more innate as in without much tourist loafing around and tour guides... I did a research and have decided to pay a visit to Kapa, Veitnam where hill tribes are profoundly innate there.

Let me share with you guys the journey using photos that I shoot over the visit:
Long Neck Tribe - a very famous woman used in many advertisement for the purpose of tourism in Thailand. She has a brilliant smile.

She crated many cloths, like bed sheets, scarfs and table mattress which are colorful and their textures are just simply amazing.

A closer view of the bars worn in her neck, simply flabbergasting...

They start wearing neck bars at a very young age and annually increase their numbers; they believe that women with longer neck portrait beauty!

She was showing me some items that she crafted, Ohh~ I got my self a scarf...

I love this photo very much, that really gives cultures impact, varieties and story!

The Akha tribe, most melodious and love to sing most of their time, I really enjoyed their singing alone and with their friendly smile, just makes me a heaven for the day!
Akha - Hut

What a brilliant moment! I love their costume too!

Akha man - smoking in Hut

The eldest in the tribe! Love at that friendly notion!

Place for cooking

Dried corns for food

Rest place

Yao (Mien), showed me the spirit of the togetherness, love how their joint daily activities with all the tribe members.
Simply amazing performance; drums and vocals!

Simply amazing drums rhythms.

The elder and the youngster - a photo to portrait their people...

PS: I kept this set of photos to be extremely natural and only levels were adjusted, just to share with you guys the naturalism and colors of the village itself.
