Ahhh the Cabin...

We love going to our cabin and especially in the summer! Yes Tyson is definitely more obsessed then I am but I still enjoy being with family and relaxing. We just went up for a short trip over the 24th holiday with family and then later with Tyson's sister's fun group of friends. I am trying SO hard to become better at skiing and maybe one day be as good as my husband. (yeah right). My brother Matt came up for the trip too so it made our stay at the cabin even more fun.

You can't beat the beautiful sunsets up in Island Park!

Tyson just couldn't resist building a sail boat to float on the lake. Here are some of our neices and nephews helping Tyson sail the boat. He is just a big grown up little boy!

Yay for the sailboat! It is on it's way!

Our cute neice Hattie is so much fun!

Tyson and Maimie skipping rocks. Maimie likes to call Tyson "Juwee." It's a crack up.

Matt and Charlie just chillin..

Cute girls!

Me attempting to "cut." You can tell I am REALLY concentrating!

Cooking Club

I'm sure many of you have heard of a book club or are in one but have you heard of a cooking club? I was so excited when my friend Jen called and invited me to join a cooking club she was putting together. I love it! We meet once a month with a different theme for each meeting. For our last meeting, our theme was cupcakes. So we brought enough cupcakes to share with each girl and also enough reciepes to share. It was so much fun getting together and sharing reciepes. Here are some of my favorite cupcakes: coconut delight, smores, reese's peanut butter cup (mine), and apricot cupcakes. Let me know if you want to join!

Also, a couple of weeks ago I was able to put together a little "reunion." All of my closest friends from California came over for dessert and lots of talking. It was so much fun getting together just like old times!

California and the 4th of July

Wow! This summer has been very busy! After San Francisco, Tyson and I went to my mom's house to spend some quality time with the fam. We arrived on a Sunday night. We spent the time at the pool, hanging out with my little brother Matt and watching movies with my mom and Dale. Tyson flew home on Wednesday but I was able to stay until the following Sunday with my family. I went to lunch with my good friend Jessica, got pedicures with my mom, spent lots of time with my sister and her two cute boys, and then celebrated my dad's birthday. The time flew by ofcourse leaving me wanting more already. Here are some pics from the trip below:

I flew home on a Sunday and then we were off to our cabin in Island Park for the week. Tyson was anxious to get there so he could water ski. We spent the week with ALL of the family including our 19 nieces and nephews. I did crafts with the girls while Tyson played legos with the boys. We did lots of water skiing and wake boarding and I am now able to go in and out of the wake on one ski!! I feel I am getting better and better each time! The 4th of July was filled with parades, fire works and ofcourse yummy tacos. We had a ton of fun in the sun and on the boat! Here are just a few of the pictures from the week (more to come later):
