Hi Linda,

    a=:1 1 2 3 5r1 2 3 5 8  NB. 5r1 is just 5, so really this is just creates a list, as r is not a verb

1 1 2 3 5 2 3 5 8 
   1 1 2 3 5 ([: x: %) 1 2 3 4 8  NB. I would normally write 1 1 2 3 5 x: @: % 1 2 3 4 8 , but I know you prefer [: 
1 1r2 2r3 3r4 5r8   NB. ([: x: %) is a verb that works the way you expect
