[Jprogramming] using lapack?

What exactly does one install under macOS Sierra to get the needed lapack binaries?

manifest.ijs seems to apply only to Windows.

I note that macports supplies package lapack (version 3.6.1) with various variants including “accelerate”, gcc7, gfortran, and universal.
