Depends if you really want the resulting boxed items to have shape 1 4 or
not.

If not then I'd probably go with one of these:

   ;&.> BB

│0 2 4 6│1 3 5 7│

└───────┴───────┘


or


   ;L:0 BB

┌───────┬───────┐

│0 2 4 6│1 3 5 7│

└───────┴───────┘
