[Jprogramming] sparse matrix flags?

After studying the representation of
sparse matrices, I'm inclined to believe
that 6 $. A (where A is a sparse matrix)
always has the result 0, in current 
implementations of J.

I also note that 1&$. does not accept
an argument for 'flags'.

Am I overlooking something?
