Hi
It was a new year's day yesterday, by lunar calendar. We have three
consecutive holidays for that in Korea. I wanted to do some J coding
and recalled an interesting puzzle that I once solved with pen and
paper. This time, of course, in J.
This problem is explained at
http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2001/1/17/11933/1644 It's called
Einstein's Riddle.
This problem is really best-fit for Prolog type languages(and
constraint programming languages like Oz) but I wanted to test the
limit of my J skill. Mine is brute force, and I'm still working on it.
I'm really curious how J experts would approach this problem.
