Hi all !

Comment to Eldon Eller.

Yes, that is a perfect interpretation of my question. I question why the
"fork and hook" form was chosen in tacit expressions instead of
right-to-left execution, which could possibly then be the default instead
and could be modified by parenthesis and by different operators. It seems
the implied parenthesis and the default arguments most of the time does not
fit. It seems like monad right-to-left execution is the most frequent form
in J.

Comment to Fraser Jackson.

It wasn't my meaning to request an answer from anyone. I am sorry for the
badly chosen words.

I am not really trying to change J. I am not a scientist. I just pose a
question about the design.

Comment to Randy MacDonald.

I guess that explains your feelings about this.

Comment to Eugene McDonnell.

Thanks. It is very interesting to hear about how this decision was taken. I
will take a look at this information.

Cheers,

Erling Hellenäs
