Home Made 。Chinese Blossom Butter Cookies 。

Methods;
1. Sieve 110g plain flour, 100g corn flour and 20g potato flour. Set aside.
2. Beat 125g butter with 50g icing sugar (I reduced to 40g) till creamy and light. Add in 1 egg yolk and 1/2 tsp rose essence. Mix well.
3. Add in flour into butter mixture. Stir well.
4. Take 1/3 portion of the dough and mix with few drops of pink food colouring.
5. Put some plain and coloured dough into cookies mould.
6. Grease baking tray with some butter. Press out the dough from the cookies mould on the baking tray.
7. Put a small diced red cherry on each of the flower shape dough.
8. Bake in pre-heated oven at 150C for 25-30 minutes.

Home Made 。Pandan Ondeh-Ondeh 。

Methods;
1. Add in 100g Pandan water (blend pandan leaves with water and extract the green water out). slowly into 150g glutinous flour. Slowly mix well and knead well.
2. Weigh the dough at about 15g each, shape round, flatten it and wrap with some Gula Melaka.
3. Put into boiling water till each of the balls float up.
4. Coat with grated coconut (mix grated coconut with some salt and steam it before use). Serve.

Shopping Heavens ~ Bangkok @ Day 1: Amphawa Floating Market 07.09.2013

Next stop right after Meklong Railway Market is the Amphawa Floating Market. This market is only available during the weekend. I prefer this floating market than the one that I have visited earlier as this market has much more things to see and try out.

Lots of souvenirs and food items sell at the market .....

Decided to have our dinner here ....

Grilled Scallop

Noodles with Shrimps

Pork Satay

We have an enjoyable time exploring the market. Before we left the market, we have a boat ride to see the fire flies around.
