On night shift.
I still have 'leftover excitement' from the Incubus experience last week.
And of course, the knowledge of Muna's encounter with Brandon Boyd still haunts me
(in a good way)
Ok dude.. move on already (talking to myself).
Last Thursday I went to watch the debut performance of The Big Pink at Laundry Bar, Curve.
(eh debut ke? 2nd kot? Korang pernah perform kat The Duke right?)
The band of none other than Asrif mahh mannnnnnnnnnnnn!
So proud/happy for you dude.
Korang mmg best, the performance was great..
Asrif mmg bergaya.. mutu..keunggulan... waaahahahaha.
If you had stage jitters or butterflies or whatever, definitely didnt show!
Eventhough korang main cover songs all the way except for one (kan?), mmg best!
(Although I did arrive a bit late sbb nak tgk citer Korea kat tv kol 8.30pm, forgive me Asrif!)
I liked you guys better than the second band.
Left half way through the next band's performance.
Aku juga imagined what it would be like kalau Salah and Ali were performing as well hehheh.
I'm not a die hard fan of the blues genre, but I like 'em just fine.
I may even start being one, credits to The Big Pink of course. hehehh.
I would've upload pictures but I didnt bring my phone cable to the office.
So Asrif, keep me in the loop on your next performance, future gigs and what not ok!

aku takleh nak jerit cam org gila coz its freaking 2am in the morning
muna.. heart rate aku literally increase when i saw the picture..
nevermind that its blurry..
but you were in close proximity with brandon boyd

to say that kau hyperventilated is a freakin understatement of the century!!!

baity.. aku rasa nak peluk kau gak sbb aku tau kau sure akan menggila cam aku skarang ni..

just imagine it was ur own biggest idol/fav stars and see what kind of emotions stirs up in you..
i could replace brandon boyd in this scenario with micheal schumacher/matsumoto jun/kimi raikkonen/britney spears/jenson button/steven gerrard/kirk hammet/rafael nadal/eminem
my reaction will be like this also..
i've seen half of these people in the flesh, but getting to take pictures 'with' them instead of taking pictures 'of' them.. totally different thing..
muna (and friends) are the luckiest freakin people on earth
after knowing this..
the rest of my story now is like the size of a grain to mars.
but i savored it nonetheles...
reached bukit kiara around 9pm
saw reza salleh (asrif look-a-like) performing
then joined baity at the stage where incubus' was gonna perform
the roots were rockin the stage. then incognito. followed by john legend
and then.. it was finally incubus' turn to take the stage.. at 12.15am!
it was crazy..
they opened the show with quicksand.
they sang (not in chronological order)..
a kiss to send us off

and then there was one song that ive never heard before
and a couple of songs off the light grenades album
i think it was paper shoes and pendulous threads.. but im not sure, cant really remember
ada instruments solo as well
brandon played percussion, mikey's guitar solo was awesome, so was ben kenney's bass solo
for encore, they played stellar, circles and aqueous transmission.. and mike played the sitar
brandon played the guitar for a couple of songs.
which is something rare, at least i dont always see him with the guitar
brandon went topless during the instrument solo part..
he turned around, his back facing us, and played percussion
and it was such a beautiful sight i was speechless
(actually baity and i were shouting like maniacs)
his long hair made it gorgeous
i hope incubus wont get banned in malaysia because of that LOL
if only they played love hurts.. i would've gotten really high
and, of course, i was hoping they played pardon me, certain shade of green and i miss u acoustic..
i was surprised they didn't play dig though..
at first i thought most of the people were there just to see incubus coz they know the band..
you know.. like.. as if aku pi.. for example.. all american rejects nye concert..
the only song i probably know is swing swing swing.. and even that, i could only sing along with the chorus.. halfway.. lol
but to my surprise, and delight, ramai gak org kat situ yg genuine incubus fans..
the mic sound was not very good, as in tak dengar sangat brandon and mike nyanyi...
very faint.. which was such a disappointment because masa band2 before that perform, best gila.
but because of that, i could hear myself and the crowd sing along to nearly every song, which was really great.
it was an awesome show..
nevermind the girl in front of me whose feet stepped on mine and hair shoved into my face every time she jumped
nevermind the irritating guy behind me who kept shouting "no pawe" (because of the mic)
nevermind the girl next to me who kept pushing
nevermind the girl behind me who keeps tugging at the backpack on my back everytime she jumped
nevermind the disgusting smell of booze from the mat salleh in front
nevermind the tall guys in front of me who partially blocked my view of the stage
it was fucking awesome.
worth every cent.
now2 time to gear up for maroon 5.

kalau ingat balik tahap kefanatan terhadap BSB zaman kat college dulu wahahahha
eventhough aku tak gilakan bsb..
tapi aku admit yg aku hafal semua lagu diorang up to millenium

i was happily watching anime when suddenly some lady called me from UK asking whether i've checked my email or not.
so i did straight away and they wanted the job done in 1 and half hrs time
i took a look at the stuff they wanted me to translate
i thought it was easy enough so i accepted the job.
and now i've earned me-self some extra dough yeh yehhh
i have been getting other job offers before this, ntah dari mana2 org call
tapi aku reject sbb tak confident sbb ye lah..
gila zero experience aku tanak ahh start off doing something and get a bad review from my employers kan
gotta build a good reputation u know eventhough its only a part time thing
plus..its NOT EASY to translate english to formal bahasa melayu okay...
not easy at all..
so aight people..
gonna finish this anime im watching
and if im not so groggy after that nak tgk inter milan vs liverpool game
tmrw im going to do something that will put me in debt for the rest of my life (almost).
unless of course.. i become a millionaire.

New obsession: Mizushima Hiro!
I got my hands on Hanazakari no kimitachi e (credits to Teh!)
and aku baru tgh tgk ni (gila ketinggalan zaman).
well, actually, one more episode to go lol.
Muna, I watched the preview for last episode and now I suddenly remembered that picture you posted.. yg Oguri Shun and Ikuta Toma all "dressed up" in the toilet hahahahaha.
(its 3 am in the morning and you were at incubus' concert a few hrs ago.. jeles!!!)

put 40-50 good looking pretty boys in a drama.. in your face.
