I had my last ever group meeting today.. to put together our project report. I must say that this is the most fun group I've ever been in. You see, I've always been rather calculating when choosing my groupmates, for any class. I didn't like my groupmates when I took Calculus 1 in my freshman year. Since then, I chose my groupmates based on my instincts and first impressions on them. Usually, I go with the nerdy-looking people, or people who don't look like slackers/bimbo/lazy/biatches/snobbish.. haha. I also tend to choose guys over girls.. just because I trust guys more (in engineering, lol). Guys juga tak banyak songeh, senang buat kerja ngan diorang. So for the past 4 years, I never had any bad experience with groupmates and groupworks.. fortunately my 'strategy' always worked well for me, excluding my Calculus 1 group.
However for my senior design class, I didn't follow my usual 'strategy', so to speak. It was based on the project that I wanted to do. Actually, it was the only proposed project that I understood. It has to do with music, and completely signals & systems material. Other projects, I didn't know shit what it's all about. About a month into the semester, I've already crossed out the people that I don't want to work with, for reasons that I shouldn't say here, hehehe. Lucky for me, the people I ended up with were not in my no-list. And it turned out all of us has some sort of interest in music. One of them is in the marching band and some jewish acapella group, another one is a member of the Men's Glee Club and The Friars (a singing group which is a whole level higher than the Glee Club), and the last one plays the guitar, like me! hahahh. And alsooo, all of them were cool EECS people.. like me! muahahahha. Very lepak.. laid back.. but not slackers.. they do the work they should do.. but not to the extent of being those really freaky EECS students that are in abundance.
Another thing was, they're not all freakishly smart or anything (but of course they're not hopeless lah), so I didn't feel intimidated. We divided into subgroups of two since there where 2 parts to our project (frequency detection and pitch shifting), and the guy that I had to work with (the guitar guy).. mmg best lah. hahahah.. very cool guy, very funny too.. he likes to make these weird sound effects (Deera, lagi kronik dari kau!! hahahaha). Fun to hang out with, well.. he IS a frat-boy anyway.. All my friends who are frat-boys are fun people..
So today, we spent about 3 hours putting our report together.. in a chilled and laid back atmosphere.. no rush.. since everyone was done with finals.. took some pictures.. and said our goodbyes. hahaha dammit I can't believe I'm being emotional about my freakin' groupmates!! hahahahaha.. and to think that I've been dreading this class for the whole summer.. Well, so that's that. Another good memory to bring back home.
Anywayy... I had more fun than I thought I would during my graduation ceremony today. All was good, the only thing that I regret was that I didn't take a picture with my lab partner (for another class). He's pretty cool too.. he's in the Michigan Cycling team I think, and also kinda cute, hahahahah!
Hmphh.. I think somehow my upcoming entries will be more emotional than I want them to be in these final weeks before I go back home. haha.. I dunno, we'll see about that.
p/s: Thanks for coming, and the flowers too. Both of you mean a lot to me.

Hey rakan2 aku sekalian,
Saya ingin menjemput sesiapa yg takda kerja, taknak buat kerja, malas nak study utk finals dan mahu membazir masa, ke graduation ceremony saya di Crisler Arena (sebelah stadium, bukan Chrysler Hall kat Duderstadt, lol) pada hari AHAD ini bersamaan 18 December jam 2.00 petang (guests to be seated by 1.50pm). Tidak perlu ada ticket, semuanya free seating. Sekian, terima kasih.
p/s: aku nak bunga. lalalalaaaa..

So... whaddaya know.. I'M FREAKIN' DONE, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (finally?)
hehehehe.
I just had my major design project presentation today. It went okay, despite the fact that we had a 75% working project. Considering that our project was pretty tough to implement anyway (the Prof acknowledged that), I guess it turned out okay.
actually, I still have to write the project report and I have a piano final exam in a week, but those are pretty easy..
Now I can watch J-dramas and animes all night.. all week.. all month.. yosh!!
Oh yeah, I'm sick of the word "implement". EVERYBODY uses it.. at least in engineering anyway.. in a technical sense that is. and I myself just used it above (look whose complaining). dammit!! ..

I just found out that all my major design project groupmates played alto sax in high school.. including me! hehehe. that's awesome.
OJA, here's the link to a bunch of torrent files including Kindaichi 3.
http://jem.d-addicts.com/
I don't know about other dramas, but someone is currently volunteering to seed the torrent file for Kindaichi 3 till the end of this month. So hayaku!!

I just took my last EECS exam ever tadi. Gilalah.. macam tak percaya je. Furthermore, the exam was so easy sbb Prof aku pemalas. Dia akan pi holiday even before classes ends next Tuesday, and so dia buat exam senang so dia boleh grade cepat2. Bukan senang sebarang senang, mmg senang terlalu senang. Dia repeat every question from last semester punya exam, and just changed the figures. Dah la material utk second half of the semester mmg trivial gila, makes it all the more easier. Projected mean is 90/100. Classmates aku semua lepas habis exam senyum2 je.. Ada siap menyesal lagi study byk2.. kalau study 2 jam before exam takpe. Hahahaha cam tak logic je kelas EECS 400 level aku turn out like this. hahaha best gila lah. project kelas ni pun aku dah siap. Tinggal buat report je.. 2 page je lak tu dia nak. hahahaha.. ni lah Prof EECS paling lepak pernah aku dapat. So siapa2 budak EECS nak 400 level class yg senang.. amik lah EECS 461 with Jim Freudenberg.. hehehehh..
But the next 10 days or so will be hell for me. Sbb major design project aku (for another class that is) tak siap lagi. I don't worry too much because it's a project group so I have another 3 people worrying with me. hahahha.. I just spent 8 hours in the lab today doing the project (tak campur berjam-jam sebelum ni). Will probably work on the project for like 10-12 hrs per day for the next 10 days. Madness! But I guess semua major pun macam ni, so can't complain. Sometimes I think ME students have it tougher than EECS, or maybe I am just plain lazy? Most probably. Every sem sure ada org komen kat aku, 'weh apsal kau ni cam lepak gila aa selalu.. tapi budak EECS'.. hahaha.. sbb aku malas lah aku lepak muahahhaha. Nasib baik survive.
But then again, when I think that this will be the last time I have to work hard sbb EECS nye pasal, so tak kisah la.. it will be over soon. I'll be going home in a month or so.. sebulan kejap je.. tak sabar siot. Dah aa sejuk nak mampus winter ni.. freezer pun lagi panas doh.

A sad day for Michigan football fans..
I went to the game.. the atmosphere was crazy, nothing like what I've experienced thus far.. everyone was more excited.. nervous at the same time.. cheered so loud..
the red patches here and there in the midst of the sea of blue was kinda of an eyesore.. sedar2.. kitorang kalah.. the stadium went from rowdy to silence, abruptly.. you can only hear the 'bloody' cheers.. as if it was coming from a distance.. macam sound effect reverb lak.. hahaha.. i can laugh now. but i was sad tadi.. i took it all in though.. the disappointed faces of the people around me.. how un-enthusiastic the band sounded when they performed the post game show.. the fact that it was my last time ever in Michigan Stadium.. whoaa sentimental pulak.. kasi can, aku tgh layan lagu jiwang sekarang.. muaahahhaa.. no point in talking about what happened during the game anyway.. malas dah aku nak komen.. byk je aku tak puas hati.. but whatever..
this week.. aku tgk Gokusen 1.. currently also downloading Hana Yori Dango (Japanese version of Meteor Garden 1).. tgh keluar 1 episode per week.. this week the 4th episode keluar.. tapi sbb aku tak sabar nak tgk Matsumoto Jun dalam citer tu.. aku dah tgk Hana Yori Dango jugak.. tak sabar siot nak tunggu next episode next week.. just 20 minutes ago I just finished watching Mars.. Vic Chou hen shuai! lepak gila aku minggu ni.. selagi group mate tak panggil buat kerja.. aku nak lepak puas2..
ok.. aku nak tgk anime pulak... zai jian!

i went to the Indiana game last Saturday.. by half time, we were up by 41-7.. aahhaha.. pastu aku balik.. tak rugi balik.. sbb final score was 41-14.. so i didn't miss any touchdown. I went back after the half time show lah.. nothing much..the band played some 70's song yg aku tak pernah dengar.. it was a pretty lame half time showtak sabar nak pi game this Saturday.. vs OSU... my friend yg band member kata.. this week.. they are playing cam lagu2 cartoon.. and some other songs.. including Blame Canada (from South Park).. theme from Simpsons and Family Guy as well.. apa lagi ntah.. anyway aku budget half time show this Saturday sure best.. sbb game ngan OSU.. sure ada gimmick2 yg menarik.. semangat gila Michigan Daily Sports Writer suruh semua org Blue-Out this weekend.. siap letak kat front page Daily lagi.. and it's only Tuesday.. hahahha.. harap2 menang ahh.. Michigan selalu buat org cuak.. cam masa game vs Indiana pun.. first drive Indiana dah dapat touchdown.. sambil lewa kejap defense kita masa tu.. and if we win... and hope that MSU upset Penn State.. boleh laa jugak share the Big Ten title.. which seemed improbable 4 weeks ago..
Lab EECS 452 aku ni lab paling kelakar lah utk aku.. not the stuffs we do.. but the way we use the lab room itself.. macam community house pulak.. hahahha.. i just came back from the lab rehearsing my presentation with my group mates for tomorrow.. kerusi berterabur... ada kotak pizza org order pastu tinggal kat situ.. oscilloscope ngan function generator semua tunggang langgang org guna... ada kereta mainan laa.. group mate aku yg band member tu dia datang terus dari band practice.. and since it's been raining all day.. dia sidai baju2 basah dia kat lab tu... hahhaha.. selamba je beb.. Alisa wey, mmg betul lah apa kau cakap.. hhahaha.. lawak2..
4 more weeks to go.. nak grad dahhhh.. yeahhhhhhhhh!

Mari belajar Mandarin, with broken yu fa (grammar), lol--
Wo san ge yue mei you kan dian ying aa. Zhe ge list below are dou dian ying wo zhende zhende xiang kan. Wo yi jing dou kan shu:
1) HP and the Goblet of Fire (premieres xia ge xing qi wu yeahhH!!!)
2) Memoirs of a Geisha (premieres xia ge yue)
3) Pride and Prejudice (kai shi shen me shi hou wo bu zhi dao)
4) Da Vinci Code (ming nian liu yue, i think)
Anywayyy... I went to Anwar Ibrahim's talk on Thursday.. interesting.. Q&A session yg menarik.. so he was basically (if I understand correctly), preaching about the fundamental changes that should be carried out on what he deemed as the democracy deficit currently engulfing most Muslim countries (read:Malaysia, for the most part), with an emphasis on freedom of speech and media. Byk lagi laa dia cakap, tu general topic, in my pov. Certain menda aku agree, certain menda aku tak agree. But his speech did made me think a little differently, exposed me to look at things in a different perspective. I am usually apathetic towards politic issues, still am, but I have a tad bit more awareness now. Since I'll surely be voting in the next election (wahhh!!!!), I guess it's time for me to know what's going on in my country. hahaha. But I am still not biased towards either side.... yet.
So after his speech, most Malaysians turun pi salam ngan Anwar, tangkap2 gambar, borak2 sikit.. buat lawak.. hahaha.. tu la part paling best. Sedikit surreal, lagi best than seeing the richest man the in the world (read: Bill Gates). I told him I had lots of questions to ask him (masa tu banyak laa.. tapi sekarang dah lupa dah), so he gave me his card told me to email him. hahaha.. cam lawak je aku nak email Anwar Ibrahim. but nevertheless, sesapa nak email dia, boleh laa mintak email address dia kat aku ye...

omg Michigan Daily's Crime Notes is freakin' hilarious. It really shows how peaceful and extremely uneventful Ann Arbor is. This was today's crime notes:
1. Omelet stolen from University hospital
Hospital security reported the larceny of an omelet at the UH on Sat around 11.15am. The suspect was allegedly a patient in the psych ward that is currently under investigation, according to DPS.
--- Telur dadar kena curi pun nak report???!! hahahahahha! psycho patient.. kasik laa can.. wad dia takde kasi makan telur kot..
2. Column in front of Union set on fire
A cement column at the MU with fliers posted on it was set on fire on Sunday around 4am. DPS officers arrived immediately on the scene to extinguish the act of arson. The AAFD came shortly afterwards to pour more water on the fire. No suspects at this time.
--- "to pour more water" hahhahhha.. dammit lawak gila. apa punya jenis ayat untuk tulis news ni? cam takde menda lain nak cakap je.. actually mmg takde menda nak cakap pun... tapi nak jugak tulis crime notes punya pasal..
3. DPS investigates student's fall at Law Library
While leaving the reading room at the Law Lib, a student tripped and fell early Sunday morning around 12.30am.. bla bla..
--- tajuk dia bongok siot.. so someone tripped.. mesti "investigate" tuh.. lain kali kalau aku "tripped and fell" aku nak call DPS jugak laa camni... btw, it's not even a crime.. lol
hahaha adoi.. takde crime yg lebih menarik ke daripada org mencuri omelet atau ada org terjatuh?? ahh.. the joys of living in a small town.. one of the seniors dulu2 pernah bagitau aku AA is one of the safest place in.. Michigan? USA? I can't remember.. dunno how true is that. DPS officers kat AA sure sangap nak mampus.. the person who writes the crime notes for the Daily ntah2 saja melawakkan lagi crime notes since they are mostly trivial stuffs.. hhahhahaha.
the whole day today, aku duk teringat2 pasal crime notes harini and aku duk gelak sorang2.. now aku dah termasuk dalam golongan org2 yg aku selalu gelakkan.. that is org2 yg jalan2 kat Central sorang2 pastu tiba2 gelak sorang2.. dammit.. except that aku kat North Campus and I only do it when there's no one around so nobody could see me laughing by myself. hahhahaha..

This time round, Umich invited Ludacris to perform a Raya concert at Hill.. how thoughtful! hahahaha.. so I was at Central tadi for a meeting with my lab partner.. meeting finished around 11pm, suddenly kat luar Ugli tu ramai gila org... and I was thinking, apa citer budak2 Umich semua harini tak buat hw ke lepak je. dah aa tgh2 midterm season. Naik bas pun penuh gila. Then baru sedar oooooooooo concert Luda baru habis ke.. Apsal laaa MSA (Michigan Student Assembly) arranged for Luda to come.. I don't like hip hop.. except Eminem of course.. ajak laa Greenday ke... Incubus ke... rock bands laa.. anyway Luda aku dah pernah tgk dah masa Anger Management tour Eminem nye concert dulu.. he said the word "bitches" too many times..
ANYWAY.... raya this year best la jugak.. smayang raya kat EMU convo center.. tak pernah aku jemaah seramai itu.. a little weird because most people didn't stay to hear the khutbah.. including me ahahah! too noisy i cannot even hear what the imam said over the speaker.. and you know how kat masjid AA tu selalu ramai budak2 buat bising.. same thing at the convo center.. only more kids and more bising.. meningkat pada kadar exponential mengikut saiz bangunan.. very annoying. but that's how it is here.. can't complain. then went to raya at kak fezah's house then kak deng's.. awesome food. kenyang gila. i skipped all my classes.. including a Mandarin test.. lol.. takpe boleh drop satu hahaha.. good reason enough to skip class if it's for good food. today felt like a weekend..
called home and my dad said.. "aiseh kirah sorry laaa tahun ni ayah lupa laa nak hantar kuih raya..." ahahahha i didn't remind him but he finally remembered that he forgot. lol.. my dad was busy taking care of my Tok Wan (pronounce Tok Where) anyway.. she masuk hospital. and also managing his soon to be launched kedai.. was in Kelantan for a lottt.. kedai apa aku tak tau. tak tanya la pulak.
NBA pre-season has started yeay! well, not that I have to time watch any matches.. but still, yeay! Larry Brown not coaching Pistons anymore.. hamlau betul. F1 news is slow now since the season is over.. I'm so curious to see how the new knockout qualifying system will turn out.. good or bad? It does sound interesting.. and exciting... and complicated.. well the format is not at all complicated, but when thinking in terms of fuel level strategies.. damn it's complex.. different knockout groups have different options too.. no more one set of tyres for a single race.. good riddance, I hate that.. pit stops became lifeless because of that.
aight. SHR MZB to everybody.
ANYWAY.... raya this year best la jugak.. smayang raya kat EMU convo center.. tak pernah aku jemaah seramai itu.. a little weird because most people didn't stay to hear the khutbah.. including me ahahah! too noisy i cannot even hear what the imam said over the speaker.. and you know how kat masjid AA tu selalu ramai budak2 buat bising.. same thing at the convo center.. only more kids and more bising.. meningkat pada kadar exponential mengikut saiz bangunan.. very annoying. but that's how it is here.. can't complain. then went to raya at kak fezah's house then kak deng's.. awesome food. kenyang gila. i skipped all my classes.. including a Mandarin test.. lol.. takpe boleh drop satu hahaha.. good reason enough to skip class if it's for good food. today felt like a weekend..
called home and my dad said..

Tgh phase malas.. why laa why... 6 more weeks to go.. literally, since I have no finals so the last day of class is the last day of my undergrad life.. yeah!.. why malas now.. gotta persevere.
Raya is on Khamis. I wish it was tomorrow. First time since I came here my parents tak hantar kuih raya. Oh well..

Last Tuesday, aku pi tgk this one play called Tall Horse. Last minute dapat ticket. Tak pi group meeting sbb play tu muahhahhha. Siot je aku. Anyway, it was an out of ordinary kind of play. It's very hard to describe. But I'll try. Ada live actors and also puppets. Bukan the kind of puppet yg kau masuk tangan pastu gerak2 mulut dia tu, and bukan yg kau guna tali dari atas gerak2 kan puppet tu. Dia cam pegang puppet tu dari belakang.. 1 to 3 people will play the puppet.. one of them will be the voice of the puppet.. You would think that since the puppet is the main actor you'll get distracted with so many people controlling the puppet, but that was not the case at all. They animated the puppet sooooo well.. I didn't pay attention to org2 yg duk control puppet tu. Amazing.. The puppets are life-sized. Not only that, ada jugak cam kambing laa.. apa laa.. which is big enough, and ada org bawah puppet kambing tu yg gerak2 kan. THe most interesting one is the giraffe (aka Tall Horse), which was about 5 meters high, with 2 people standing on one meter heels, controlling the giraffe. Hebat gila lah. I don't think I'll ever see that kind of play again.
For more info, Click Here. Also ada video clips of the play.. Tgk lah...

Game vs. Penn State semalam best nak mampus!!!
Cuak sampai saat terakhir... literally...
Awal2 lagi aku tgk everyone macam extra hyper.. the crowd was louder than usual.. cheer kuat2.. maybe sbb semua org expect nak menang (no way Michigan is going to lose twice in a row!!), and maybe juga sbb it's fall break.. heheh..
Nasib baik laaa Lloyd Carr mintak balik 4 seconds masa dia call time out tu.. tapi dapat 2 seconds je balik.. that was a crucial move..
Henne showed flashes of brilliance.. tapi masa dia decide to run the ball then fumbled it and menyebabkan Penn State dapat touchdown.. semua org speechless.. senyap stadium.. amende laa mamat ni buat..
I thought that Stevie was really awesome..
When Mario Manningham caught the last touchdown, semua org dalam stadium jadi hysteria.. hahahahaha..
Aku lompat... terjatuh dari bench.. bangun balik.. lompat balik.. jatuh lagi sekali.. cycle goes on about 3 times... lol
Sorang mamat cute yg aku usha during every game (seat dia row depan aku je), pun terjatuh.. muahahahha..
ok sempat lagi tu usha org..
hahaha anyway... aku dah cakap ni banyak kali kat sapa2 ntah..
semua org happy gila menang game macam menang rose bowl.. seriously..
aku rasa org semua dah fed up kalah.. also sbb kita menang with 1 second left on the clock..
that made it all the more exciting..
pastu semua lari pi depan.. aku pun sama...
sebab players semua lari ke student section..
dengan band members sekali pun sama..
gila lain lah daripada apa yg aku experience masa menang ngan Iowa last season..
maybe sama perasaan dengan masa menang dengan Michigan State last year..
or masa menang dengan Minnesota two years ago..
so kita dah beat no 8 ranked team, rank kita pun naik lah ni hahaha.. bagus2..
penn state punya penyokong gila hampeh ahh.. suckers..
at least the one yg duduk belakang row aku aa..
cam siot je.. kitorang menang.. in your face lahh!!
one thing aku rasa kelakar.. budak2 Penn State ni.. gila sayang Joe Pa ahh..
I mean, antara cheer2 diorang.. cheer nama Joe Paterno..
aku rasa kelakar sbb aku terpk, camne lahh kalau Michigan cheer Lloyd Carr..
cam lawak je... hahahahha..
mamat tu tgh kena kutuk gila2 sekarang ada lah..
eventhough most people mmg acknowledge dia punya record since jadi coach kat Michigan, which is excellent lah jugak.
sedih nya F1 dah habis.. lagi sedih sbb Renault menang Constructor's. Boring lah macam ni.. tak sabar tunggu next season.. aku nak layan A1 GP tapi takde tunjuk kat US pun? hmphh..
this year first time aku tak pi tangkap gambar raya.. sebab kerja. not that I care though..
ngantuk2 mari tidur

Rabu lepas aku pi dengar Bill Gates punya talk. Ticket free lagi tu. Macam tak percaya pulak. Sitting 30 feet away from the richest man in the world. It felt surreal. His talk was kinda technical. If you are not an engineering major, heck.. if you are not a CE or CS major.. his talk would've been dead boring, because you most probably won't grasp half the things he said.. unless you are interested/have knowledge in computers or software developments or Moore's Law or floating points or programming or.. etc etc.. lol. But yeah, I enjoyed his talk. He even made a short movie with 'Napolean Dynamite' and showed it to the audience. haha seriously.. Jon Heder was Napolean Dynamite and they acted out a short movie. Got to see Bill Gates in boxers.. got to see him dance like Jon Heder\, exactly like the Vote for Pedro routine.. hahaha.

FOOTBALL
---------
Woohoo.. we beat Michigan State.. truthfully, I didn't think we were going to win.. but that was because I wasn't sure whether Mike Hart will be playing or not. Good thing he did.. he made a difference. His presence lifted up the team's spirit.. Henne notched up his game, this time he looked more like he did last year.. Steve Breaston didn't play because he hada shoulder injury.. I was like, great.. just when Hart is back in the game, he's not.. why this had to happen.. but then as the game progressed, I didn't even miss Breaston.. he didn't perform really well in the past couple of games anyway.. Papehal, the game was very exciting!! Michigan State lost in OT for the second time in a row.. must be a blow to them. My friend who is a band member was at the game.. he said that after the game was over, everybody looked like they were deflated..
Ok this is kinda trivial.. but you know how the Daily will compare Michigan with their opponents before each game? Everything from passing offense to rushing defense to the intangibles.. and then they'll predict the score.. they got it on the dot this time.. 34-31.. lol.. anyway, for the first time in 7 years Michigan is unranked.. this is so sad. but then again, somehow i think the players are not that pressured anymore.. I mean mmg lah there's pressure to start winning games since before this game we've only won against two mid-american conference teams.. but then again, the players also have nothing to lose.. and everything to gain.. it's like.. "we wanna win", rather than, "we must not lose". it's two different things, different kind of pressure, different kind of way to look at it, the way you react to these two scenarios.. at least that's what I think. heheh.. papehal, it's all good.. let's just hope wisconsin loses so that we have a chance at the Big Ten Championship.. can't wait to go to next week's game..
DAVE CHAPPELLE
---------------
On Friday, I went to see Dave Chappelle.. yeah.. he did solely stand up comedy.. when he came on stage.. everybody were already giving him a standing ovation.. omg the place was packed!! I didn't see a single empty seat. it was really different from what u see on tv.. he had no reservations whatsoever.. he could say anything he wanted since he wasn't on tv.. dirty jokes.. kutuk Bush.. racism stuffs(even more that what u see on tv), he swore a whole lot more too hahaha.. he even smoked like 10 cigs! hahaha.. and the audience were heckling like crazy.. not in a bad way.. but really.. everytime someone shouted a question.. he'd answer them.. mostly about where he went during his disappearing act, his beef with comedy central.. he said that he is still mad with them.. he was suppose to start season 3 like months ago.. just surf the net if u wanna know more about this.. now he's replaced with Carlos Mencia in the Mind of Mencia show. he's funny but I like Chappelle better.. Dave was really honest you know.. he answered all the questions and made us audience feel more connected.. it was like almost personal.. but of course he'll have these punch lines.. takdelah serious semata2.. he also said the Brits and Japanese hated his guts! hahahahha.
after about 1 hr 45 minutes or so, his manager signalled to him that he can stop if he wants.. but he didn't.. he said the audience (us) had so much love for him.. that he wants to stay some more.. so he ended being on stage for about 3 hours.. amazing! people were asking sooo many questions.. Dave said.. "hey.. hey what's this, a press conference???" hahahha.. lawak siot dia.. it's been a while since I've laughed so much for so long.. it was fun.. after about 2 hours though, he confessed that he kinda ran out of jokes.. he said it's proof he didn't take weed before the show or else he'd be talking random shit like it's nobody else's business dah.. and people were heckling stuffs for him to joke about.. like.. "Ashton Kutcher!!" and "Portugese breakfast!!" and "Wayne Brady!!"... hahaha byk lagi aku dah tak ingat.. someone asked him did he go to Mekah.. he said yes he did.. after 3 hours he didn't really wanna get off the stage, but he had to since he didn't have anything else to say anymore.. he ran out of ideas.. he said the longest he's ever been on stage on stand up was 6 hours. gila lah lama siot.
people say he's a Muslim (is he?). I've never actually read that anywhere before.. but I do know that he has this Muslim friend.. that's why he went to Mekah anyway.. his friend brought him. if he is truly a Muslim.. bagus lah. wow I really had fun.. I was glad I went eventhough I was kinda kedekut to pay 40 bucks(including tax and the processing fee shit) at first.. but it was worth it man.

Siot lah.. football kalah dengan Wisconsin.. we could've won man. Whatever. No point talking about it. Alonso secured the Driver's Championship.. as much as I hope he wouldn't, it's kinda inevitable. If only Raikkonen hadn't locked up his right tyres masa qualifying, he would've qualified for pole position and take the win instead of Montoya. Again, whatever lah.
On Friday, I went to Tally Hall's gig at Blind Pig. OMG they rocked!! Ok a little intro.. Tally Hall is a band comprised of 5 Michigan students. Rasanya diorang dah graduate kot, last year or this year I'm not so sure. Anyway, the band was formed in late 2002. Tally Hall ni agak dikenali laa in the underground world. If not because they are from Umich, aku sure tak tahu punya. Mana laa aku nak tahu pasal band2 underground ni.. main stream bands je aku tahu.
So when I found out about TH, aku cari lagu2 diorang.. Sedap aa gak.. I'm not sure what genre aku nak categorize TH.. lagu2 dia cam quirky pop rock.. wonky2 camtu.. with hints of retro-ness.. but not too extreme like Rooney. Found out they're gonna play at the Blind Pig.. alang2 tu aku beli je lah ticket, 10 bucks je. Mmg best gila laaa diorang perform! Aku diri kat front row.. and there were bricks next to the stage.. so I stood on the bricks, which made me one head taller than everybody else.. it felt like I was on the stage with them hahaha.
When I first heard their tracks.. aku cam pelik sbb different songs suara lain2.. cam, hebatnya kalau lead singer ni nak nyanyi byk2 style. Masa kat gig diorang, rupa2nya.. ada 3 frontman... 2 guitar players and 1 bass guitar player.. diorang semua nyanyi.. sedap pulak tu!! from the pictures of them yg aku jumpa, I thought that this one guy was cute la jugak (heheheh kena la usha beb). Turns out that this guy nyanyi paling banyak sekali hahahah.. he plays the bass. sedap lak tu suara.. hahahah best2... Not only that, the keyboard player pun nyanyi gak a few solo parts.. gila apa.. 4 people who can sing well in a band.
omg they are so talented. one of the guys (he looked like a CS major student.. serious muka engineer), dia banyak nyanyi gak.. boleh rap lak tuh.. guitar solo semua dia main.. the other frontman boleh boom box.. there were soooo many instruments used for extra sound effects selain drpd the usual guitars, drums and keyboard.. aku pun tak tahu apa nama.. byk sangat. they can do harmonizing.. byk gak harmonizing in all their songs.. not only that.. they can even whistle and do harmonizing.. I am impressed!
they really have a following already siot... byk gila org dah hafal lagu diorang.. there was this one girl who was lip synching every song, and one of the band members put the mic at her and let her sing one whole phrase of one of their songs... gila lah... siap ada groupie lagi tuh!! diorang punya identity adalah, all of them pakai shirt putih, black slacks and black shoes (macam org pi kerja), and each of them pakai tie kaler lain2. there's blue, red, silver, green and red.. yg aku kata cute tu pakai blue.. and the yellow tie guy pun cute gak sebenarnya... muahahahha. and so this group of girls yg aku kata groupie ni, wore white sleeveless', and each pakai tie lain2 kaler.. hahaha.
oh man, TH rock!! I actually bought their demo CD earlier.. nyanyi mmg sebijik aaa ngan recording. performance sangat laa lively, tak bosan.. another thing I like about them is that, diorang ni ada sense of humor.. best ahh.. aku thrill gila beli demo CD diorang.. I mean, I've never ever bought a demo CD ever.. recordings dia pun bunyi very raw... but still sedap.. hahaha.. excited siot aku. They're album will be out next month, they're under a very small indie label.. so takde lah worldwide sale ke apa hahahaha. I'm gonna buy their CD of course.. the fact that diorang budak Umich makes it all better and more exciting. papehal, aku akan support TH all the way... I hope they make it to MTV or whatever... masuk main stream aaa... pastu aku boleh bangga aku dah follow band ni since awal2 lagi... and bangga diorang budak Umich.. hehehehhe.. boleh jadi TH tak grow into a popular band jugak, if the band members decide to pursue their career (they do have degrees already)... u can check them out at www.tallyhall.com. lastly.....

In my eecs class there's this one guy who likes to berdengus, like every 5 seconds.. literally. aiyoo very disturbing.. sure habit yg susah utk dibuang ni. cam tak logic je kalau dia perlu berdengus utk bernafas.. hahaha. lagipun masa dia bercakap dia tak berdengus pun.. tapi camne nak bercakap sambil berdengus.. cuba la buat. sure tak boleh. muahahaha... it's like, cuba bersin sambil bukak mata.. confirm tak boleh. sure terkeluar biji mata nanti. hahahaha.
In my mandarin class there's this one girl who is getik like crazy. Sikit2 gelak tanpa sebab dan gelak kuat drpd perlu dan gelak cara getik. haritu dalam kelas ada bee tgh terbang2.. org lain buat tak tau je, dia sampai terlompat2 bangun dari kerusi pastu buat bising sambil berkata "omg I hate bees!! they creep me out", and kacau je kitorang tgh belajar. kot ye pun takyah la ngade2 sampai macam tu. minah ni duduk second row masa tu and cikgu aku biar je dia, buat tak layan je, org sekeliling pun biarkan dia terkinja sorang2.. muahahahaha.. puas hati aku.
other than that, I need a new wallet/purse, i lost mine last week.. the first time in 6 years. record baru dalam hidup aku tuh.

So what have I been doing? Homeworks.. prelabs.. postlabs.. research.. what else? hmmphh.. no time to rest. no time to do anything else. i don't watch tv anymore. i don't even have time to watch anime. but all is well. i'm not complaining.. YET.
My mundane life aside.. my cousin is getting married in December. At first I didn't really mind missing the wedding.. however, now I'm kinda sad that I'm gonna miss it. You see, my extended family on my mother's side have this yahoogroup mailing list.. yeah all the cousins, aunties, uncles, in-laws.. u name it. The only person not on the list is my nenek, which is a given because I've known no grandma that is computer savvy haha. Anyway, they are now discussing about the wedding on the mailing list.. all the technicalities.. who does what.. when.. dateline to do this and that.. invitation list.. family gatherings and outings etc.. so I'm kinda being left out since I'm halfway across the world. The same thing happened when everyone went to Perth last year for vacation (my aunty married an Australian). I knew every single plan in detail but couldn't be a part of it. And this time round they're all planning to go to Singapore during Christmas. hmphhhh.. it's very frustating sometimes. The thing is all my cousins on my mother's side are grown-ups already. So everyone is either working, or in their final years of college studies. So like, everyone has their own money and can do whatever they want since all are adults. So, it's more fun. Haiyo.. another reason why I cannot wait to go back. I'm tired of US already. Some people might like it here and have plans to stay, but that was never my option. Studying here is great and fun and all but I want to LIVE in Malaysia hehe.
Enough about home talk, I went to My Chemical Romance concert last Saturday. It was awesomeeeeeee! Apart from being stuck in the mosh pit for the first half of the concert(Reggie and Alkaline Trio performed), it was all good. During MCR's performance I went to the back where there was more space to breathe and jump around. I'm never ever going to stand in a mosh pit area ever again. Once in a lifetime experience, that's it.
And finally.. F1 talk. Buttongate is resolved!!!! Jenson will be staying with BAR Honda for the next few years.. yess lahhh!! With soon to be team mate Barichello, it's going to be an awesome season for BAR next year.. other than that.. I'm just hoping that Alonso will have race complications in Brazil.. and Raikkonen will get all the points needed to stay in the run for the Driver's Championship. I hope Ferrari improves as well and get in the points, and podium if possible.
Two labs per week both on Mondays and Tuesdays is really tiring because I have to do the prelabs before everyone else does so I have nobody to ask if I have questions except the GSIs but since my labs are on Mondays and Tuesdays I have to do my prelabs the week before so that I know what to ask during office hours on Wednesday or Thursday or Friday and in addition to that I have to do my homeworks as well and cannot wait until it's weekend to do it because homeworks are due Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I cannot go to office hours on Mondays or Tuesdays because I have labs that ends late in the evening on those days therefore to be safe everything must be done before the weekend or else I will struggle to complete my prelabs and homeworks but the good thing is if I keep this up I will be able to lepak every weekend with nothing to worry about because I've finished all my assignments and the cycle starts all over again the coming Monday. If u read up till here u have just wasted 3 minutes of your life reading and trying to understand something that u couldn't care less about and does not affect your life in any way but u read it anyway because you have nothing better to do and I have nothing interesting to tell and this is the most exciting story I have for now. fuhh.

I'm so disappointed. We should've won today's game. There were so many opportunities.. We controlled posession most of the time.. We had more rushing and passing yards.. Defense was awesome. But offense had to suck. This is the worst that I've seen Chad Henne ever performed. Fumble ntah berapa kali. Luckily each time Kevin Grady recovered them. Didn't help that Mike Hart got injured. Fans were so mad, we throwed bottles and cans on the field (I say we but I didn't throw anything though).. twice! Half freakin' yard to touchdown with 4 downs to go and we couldn't even get that!.. aaaaaa marahnya!
I am so sunburned right now with lines around my eyes because I wore sunglasses. Quote Mike.. "Kirah, you look like a panda". Betul sangat lah tu.
Looking forward to F1 and US Open Men's Finals tomorrow. Go Raikkonen (and Schumacher)!! Go Agassi (though I think Federer will win)!! Make me happy.

My Mandarin teacher (aku amik Chinese 101 this sem) mmg main tipu siot. During lecture, she doesn't give lectures. Instead she lets us watch a video tape of her giving a lecture, and she'll just stand there, occasionally pausing the tape to explain a little bit here and there.. and I found out she made that tape in 1998.. 7 years ago!! cessssssssss.. tak aci siot. but other than that, she's a fine teacher..
Yesterday I made history. Aku ganti member aku kerja petang semalam.. shift dishroom. I actually stood for 2.5 hours at the same spot washing dishes.. aku rinse pinggan mangkuk at the average rate of 3 seconds per dish (seriously, anyway bukan nye basuh sampai bersih, cam spray air secukup rasa je utk letak dalam dish washing machine). So that means.. I washed 20 dishes in a minute.. 1200 dishes in an hour.. so estimate aku basuh 3000 pinggan semalam! Shit.. more than total aku basuh pinggan for the past 23 years of my life... hahahahahha. Itu baru satu kali shift kerja, org2 yg kerja kat situ dah lama, sure dah basuh berpuluh ribu pinggan mangkuk.. ok it's really nothing interesting but aku rasa cam lawak gila ahahaha.
anyway, weekend ni should be interesting.. Michigan vs. Notre Dame.. F1 at Spa.. US Open semis and finals.. homeworks and prelabs heheheh.

US Open
-------
US Open men quarterfinals, what a great comeback by Agassi. Down by 2 sets, and he won the match in 5 sets with a tie-braker. A fast paced match, over in 3 hours. Blake did a good job as well, but I think he was in a defensive position most of the time. Agassi literally made him run all over the place, Blake was sliding here and there, somehow his shoes macam slippery LOL, which in turn buatkan dia lambat to get back into ready position. Tapi Agassi banyak gak buat unforced errors.
Blake's run in the US Open is really like a Cinderella story. A wild card entry that made it until the quarterfinals, was he even seeded? Aku pun tak sure. James Blake is the Cinderella Man of the year. Somehow dia remind me of the Wimbledon movie, yg ada Kirsten Dunst tu. Story line lebih kurang. wild card entry yg tiba2 menang semua game sampai la ke finals. Cuma Blake tak sampai je lol. Agassi really looked different. Dah 35 years old, badan pun dah naik sikit. He's much fairer, doesn't wear earings anymore, he has a softer facial expression now. Hahaha. Dah bertahun aku tak tgk mamat ni. This match is the most exciting tennis match that I've ever seen haha. Well no doubt there are more spectacular matches that I don't know of, but considering the fact that I just started watching tennis since Wimbledon 2005, there aren't that many matches that I can compare with.
Venus punya match haritu gila lacklustre. I think she wasnt very motivated since Serena is out of the tournament. Awal sangat Venus matchup dengan Serena, in fourth round. Diorang ni mmg ada effect on each other, that much I know from watching diorang punya reality show. Sharapovaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. yeay dia advance to semis. Her playing style, I think she's kinda erratic, yet powerful. Very intriguing. Tengah2 tennis match tadi commentators cakap pasal football game Michigan vs Notre Dame this Saturday. hahaha ironic. Well mamat yg coach offensive for New England Patriots sekarang meng-coach kat Notre Dame. He made a bet with Tom Brady kalau Michigan kalah, dia kena pakai cap Notre Dame at his next press conference. Ciss!
Formula 1

Sedih siot. Apsal la Raikonnen bad luck sangat, kena tukar engine la pulak. Kan dah kena drop 10 spots on the qualifying grid. Aku tanak Alonso menang!!! The race in Monza had all cars racing to the finish line siot. Hebat2. Ferrari is really in deep shit lately. I don't know what to say anymore. Eventhough Micheal is being realistic with his comments about not being confident with the upcoming races sbb kereta Ferrari sangat la sucks sekarang ni, I don't really favor the attitude. I wish he had more enthusiasm and faith. Anyway, it's the time of year where drivers for the teams for next season are being announced, rumors here and there. Very exciting!! Next stop, Spa Francorchamps.
Start of a new semester
-----------------------
Baru 2 days of classes and I am so tired already. Ni semua pasal the 8.30am class 4 days per week. Crazy. But I will most probably go through with it. The last time I had classes this early was masa freshman first semester. 15 credits this sem, eventhough I only need 8. Semangat tinggi membara-bara ni haha. Cari nahas betul. One of my lab GSIs is my ex-classmate. Apakah? Pelik siot rasa. Major design class aku ada 25 org je. And surprisingly ada 5 perempuan! That is a 5-boy to 1-girl ratio. Shocking shocking coz usually it's like 10 to 1 for most of my EECS classes especially the 300 and 400 levels.
After 4 months, I can finally read the Michigan Daily again. Ahh best nya. Aku rindu kat Michigan Daily. The first paper for each semester, as usual it's the New Student Edition, to give the freshmen a headstart on everything that goes around in U of M, from politics to sports to entertainment. They republished old news' dated as early as Fall 2004. Masa kerja kat Bursley during summer I got to know a guy who writes for the Daily, Arts section (yg every Thursday tu). So in the New Student Edition ada laa kawan aku ni punya reports which took up one whole page of the paper. When you know the person it's more interesting to read the article. Plus kawan aku ni tulis mostly reviews pasal new television series and movies. Gila lah sure banyak gila tgk tv dia ni. Sure dapat tgk movie free2 je sbb kena tulis review haha.
Cakap pasal movies, 40-Year Old Virgin is downright hilarious! Memang lawak nak mampus la. Bukan lawak2 cam citer lawak2 biasa, tapi lawak dia best sbb it's what people usually say dalam daily conversation. Aku ketawa sampai nangis2. Movie ni 'hardcore' aa gak.. so aku budget sure takkan keluar kat Malaysia punya. Kalau keluar, mau kena potong byk gila.. and there'll be bleeps in almost every scene hahahaha.

Summer dah habis. tak best nya. kereta dah banyak balik. dah ramai org balik. perasaan nak ke sekolah balik after melepak 4 bulan gila tak best lah. i'm dreading it. freshmen datang kali ni, aku terasa macam aku dah senior gila. byk betul org lalu lalang tanya aku macam, camne nak pi sana sini, building ni kat mana.. masa kerja kat dining hall pun sama. masa aku kerja lunch tadi was a preview of what's to come bila aku kerja sana during the year. gila penat aaa sbb ramai gila org.
Football season tshirt this year tak cantik. dah la warna biru. aku nak warna kuning tapi last season dah warna kuning. takpe lah.
i'll be heading to chicago in about 2 hours, lepak kat sana for around 5 days. i've been invited to 2 parties already, satu cam house warming party kat apartment member aku..should be fun because nearly half of the people i know will be there.. dah aa apartment yg betul2 atas Angelo's.. cam best je apartment kat situ. the other party kat rumah frat house kawan aku. kalau frat party biasa je takpe aa, tapi ni ada 4 live bands nanti, cam mini concert laa.. semua local bands, band emo/punk semua. so cam best gak kalau pi. tapi unfortunately since aku pi chicago tak dapat la aku pi. aku nak pi maize craze gak.. aiseh man.. timing tak bagus betul pi chicago ni. tapi takpe aa.. ni kira cam last time aku pi chicago..
haritu aku mengusha facebook.com aka stalkernet, aku try search org nama shakirah.. ada laa beberapa kerat je.. tapi semua org hitam hahaha. shakirah mmg nama org hitam ek.. sibuk je.
oh yeah, tadi dah ada mamat hitam bapuk masuk rumah sebelah aku. hahahha kalau la dia tahu ada org pernah suicide kat bilik tu, sure tanak duduk kat situ dah mintak pindah hahahha.
lately ni banyak kawan2 aku dah engage. minggu ni je aku dapat berita yg 2 org kawan aku engage, sorang engage last week.. sorang lagi engage senyap2.. aku pun tak tahu sapa tapi aku tahu laa dia ex-classmate aku. ada source bagitau aku, nanti kawan aku nak annouce tapi ntah bila. hahahaha. pastu in the next couple of months another 2 friends akan bertunang. ni tak termasuk lagi 2 org yg dah bagitau since awal tahu yg diorang akan engage sometime this year. so by the time aku balik next year, sure belambak2 kenduri kahwin aku akan pergi. kawan2 aku dah engage aku ni study utk degree pun tak habis lagi. gila lah. 4 tahun lepas kalau dengar org nak tunang gila aku jadi excited semua. sekarang bila dapat news, cam.. oh ek... baguslah.. hahaha.
VMA tahun ni sucks nak mampus. aku tgk kejap pastu aku dah bosan gila. byk betul menda2 org hitam sbb since P.Diddy yg host. semua kroni dia je gimmick2 semua. bosan betul. aku look forward kat performance2 kelly clarkson, greenday, my chemical romance, and greenday. tapi ntah apsal semua band pun nyanyi sumbang and sucks gila. buang karan aku je tgk.

Four Brothers is an awesome movie! A serious story line with a touch of candid humor.. oh yeah.. Mark Wahlberg is so damn hot hot hot!! shit lah.. hot gila.. warghh!!!
Semalam start kerja at Bursley again. Kali ni budak2 yg datang makan are the RAs and Orientation Student Leaders etc. No longer are the smelly soccer and lacrosse kids, or the boisterous African American students or the nerdie CAEN camp high schoolers. Anyway, the dining hall sangatlah bising dan kecoh semalam. From the faces that I recognize, most of the students are juniors and seniors. So mereka2 ni bagus sikit sbb diorang tahu kena buang napkins dan tulang2 dan buah2-an from their trays hahaha. senang sikit kerja aku kat dishroom. I guess yesterday was the first day everybody met their friends back after 2-3 months of summer break. Jerit-jerit peluk-peluk, oh i missed you kat sana, omg u look so great kat sini.. mmg kecoh ler. Semua senyum kegembiraan. Aku terus teringat kat zaman aku kat asrama dulu, mmg exactly camni laa lepas cuti sekolah or kadang2 even lepas outing bermalam (balik weekend). At first you have the dreaded feeling of going back to school because u want to continue cuti and duduk kat rumah, tapi by the time you reach school compounds and see all your friends again, langsung tak ingat rumah dah. Pk tak sabar nak cerita ini itu kat kawan2. Paling best masa makan dinner on the day you return from home sbb semua org ada kat dining hall, so u meet practically everybody, jerit from this table to the other table. Ini kalau masa form 4 and for 5 la. masa form 1 and 2, kena tunggu nak kecoh2 kat class masa prep malam lepas dinner hehehe. Kalau food dining hall tak sedap pun tak kisah. Tapi food kat sekolah aku sedap hehehehe. pastu masa prep malam tu sambung lagi cerita2. homework takde, apa nak risau. kalau homework ada pun cam aku buat je ahahaha. kadang2 balik prep awal sbb nak amik supper lagi awal dari orang lain. Bestnya time kat asrama. huwoo rindunya tak ingat.
anyway, kali ni kerja kat bursley tak best macam masa summer haritu, sebab org2 yg aku dah biasa dengan tak kerja utk fall opening schedule. tapi ok je laa kerja.
ok now a bit the Turkish GP last weekend. what can i say.. raikkonen is excellent as usual. mc laren has the speed but lack reliability (kali ni montoya was expensed). selalu tak confident je mc laren akan habis the race or not. tapi everytime aku tgk raikkonen drive, aku rasa cam kereta tu betul2 ringan macam kertas, mmg aku kagum. tapi alonso is so lucky i tell you. dia mmg lucky, macam micheal schumacher selalu nasib baik (excluding this year, tu pun ada times that dia still lucky). haih tak puas hati nye aku alonso dapat 2nd instead of 3rd. serious tanak dia and renault menang. anyway, jenson button was awesome! he got 5th after starting at what, 13 i think? tak ingat. imagine kalau dia tak buat mistake masa qualifying, dapat P3 or P4 instead.. sure dah naik podium dah. button mmg drive dengan hebat gila semalam. a bit on the the new circuit, ok aa gak.. Turn 8 byk org problem kat situ.. the road is very wide.. 13 or 14 meters i think.. tak tau aa sepang pun wide gak tapi ni cam lagi wide je, so byk options for overtaking and ada variation in racing lines. aku tgk audience punya attendance cam ok laa gak, sepang lagi teruk aa.
aku juga wonder kenapa jenson button dapat banyak gila screen time. it's not like i'm complaining or anything, aku suka je sbb aku suka button. tapi mmg byk lah dapat tgk dia masa race. on board camera pun asyik tunjuk button punya paling banyak. everytime button overtake org lain sure tv tunjuk. best lah camni.
btw aku tak tau pun fairuz fauzy (aku rasa la ni nama dia) masuk GP2. kalau ye, hebat aa.. tapi dia tak menang aa haritu. aku bangun2 tidur GP2 tgh berlangsung and aku dengar commentator sebut "..and fairuz fauzy from malaysia.. etc etc", tapi dia tgh cam nombor 11 ke apa ntah.. so aku tidur balik until F1 start lol.

Poems huh? Here's my first ever attempt at making one. Took me about 10 minutes hahaha. Eventhough it's only a single paragraph, it took a lot of effort since I couldn't think of anything to write about. Komen2 membina dan tak membina dialu-alukan. Nak gelak pun silakan lah ye takde hal hahahaha.. here goes nothing..
Summer is nearly over and gone
Time to embrace the winter as it comes
Now I am left all cold and alone
With only sweet memories to keep me warm
Summer is nearly over and gone
Time to embrace the winter as it comes
Now I am left all cold and alone
With only sweet memories to keep me warm

The Best Things In Life
The best things in life,
Are through all means of way,
From the God who has created,
With His mercy each day.
The best things in life,
Never come too often,
At times they'd just leave,
Without notification.
The best things in life,
We often seek with dismay,
When actually it's already there,
God gave in the other way.
The best things in life,
Might be the most ordinary,
When finally it got lost,
It was as if the most valuable jewellery.
The best things in life,
Are pleasures we get everyday,
The moment u'd feel thankful,
Is the moment they're been taken away.
The best things in life,
Are always the most dearly,
So keep them really close,
They might one day leave early.
The best things in life,
Are from The Creator of all,
Never ours to be proud of,
For God can vanish them all.

I don't usually value poems of any sort, I think poems are too wordy and has too many isi-isi tersirat. Deciphering double meanings is not my cup of tea, I tend to view things as it is, take in what people say word for word. But when someone you know writes one, lagi-lagi ur own sibling, somehow the poem becomes sweet and meaningful and cherishable.
The best things in life,
Are through all means of way,
From the God who has created,
With His mercy each day.
The best things in life,
Never come too often,
At times they'd just leave,
Without notification.
The best things in life,
We often seek with dismay,
When actually it's already there,
God gave in the other way.

I hate pretenders.
I hate sugar-coaters.
I hate people who f--k others for their own benefit.
I hate people who put on a sweet face for show.
Get real. Be original.
Two words.. good riddance.
On another note, I can't wait for Bursley to open again this Sunday because I am dead bored. I need something to do.

Show Me Everything You've Got by Rocket Summer
Slide your feet, create the shock
touch another, watch it pop
live a little, live a lot
and show me everything you've got
Oh, cause it takes some time
and just a little bit good?
reality won't hurt, well, longer than it should
just talking about that it's there
face the fact, don't act like you don't care
Cause you gotta stop and show it, just so I know you know it
maybe just a little bit, oh come on admit it right now
cause I know that it won't be over til it's gone
so let it be gone
And show me everything you've got
I know you're scared
But let your walls just drop
You gotta take that step, and your heart, just let it pour out
Now I know it's hard to be something that you don't think you are
but it's hard for me to even try to understand why you are beating your own heart
cause you gotta try, just try to be honest
and I'll be honest with all these things that say
now listen clear, whether break your modest, I'm here
don't hold back, don't hesitate, don't disappear
And show me everything you've got
I know you're scared
But let your walls just drop
You gotta take that step, and your heart, just let it pour out
And show me everything you've got
I know you're scared
But it's time for you to start
You gotta take that step, and your heart, just let it make sound
So hey, just let it pour out
don't let your past begin to let you down
just sing it out, just let it make sound
and as heard, it will be healed and found
'cause it's normal that emotional pasts can spawn
emotionless dads, mothers, and nation's flags
so show your face, no don't be afraid,
no don't be afraid to show your face
After all these things I've learned
about things I do and don't deserve
can easily just shape my life
shape away, I start to die
No, cause it's up to me
if I dwell much longer than I should
and I'll hold my tears for years thinkin' it's doing me good
so let's start right now, and just make a vow, you'll let your heart, sing it out

I think A1GP is gonna be a great racing car 'olympics' so to speak. With all teams using the same machinery and technology, it all boils down to the driver's skills. It would be so much fun to cheer for your own country instead of foreign teams (like in F1) for a change.
Alex Yoong will be representing Malaysia. This time, he'd better redeem himself from the reputation he acquired while driving with Minardi in F1, and make all the Malaysians proud!! heheheh.. semangat kebangsaan membara-bara ni. LOL. anyway, Yoong actually did good in the first day's test, 7th out of 15 teams, less than 1 second off the pace from the fastest time set by Robbie Kerr from Britain.
A1 Team Malaysia Boleh!!

warning: HP6 spoiler ahead, though i bet everyone (hp fans that is) has read it by now
who would've thought that the half-blood prince was snape? to think that he is disgusted with hermione for being a mudblood when his own father is a muggle. i never thought that dumbledore would ever die. even if he did, i thought it would be a peaceful death. he is such a strong character that i find it impossible to accept that he will not be around anymore. but i guess it's more dramatic this way. it will make harry's quest to kill voldemort more adventurous and difficult. i actually read the part when snape did his avada kedavrus (sth like that) to dumbledore like 5 times just to be sure i was reading it right.
too bad that harry and ginny's relationship was shortlived. when harry snogged her after the quidditch match i shouted and jumped like crazy, i didn't expect that to happen haha. i hope that they get back together after harry obliterates voldemort once and for all in book 7. hbp is kinda slow.. the story progresses very leisurely, coupled with the fact that it is more anecdotal than action-packed. but i still love it! i hope that book 7 will answer why dumbledore trusted snape so much! oh man it kills me whenever he defended snape, i feel like punching him in the face.
one thing i thought rowling should have done was to develop harry's character into a stronger wizard, that is to say that he should have acquired more powerful spells and what not, not just minor jinxes that pratically everyone else could do. he cannot expect to kill voldemort with the level of his magic skills now does he? eventhough he has this power called 'love', i think it is kinda corny. haha. i know it's suppose to be sweet and deep and meaningful, but it's too easy.
but in all fairness, hbp is as good as the previous installments of hp, even better.. and rowling wrote such a great build-up story to get book 7 into full gear. now, having to wait for roughly 2 years for it to come out is like waiting for the time when i will have grandchildren..

harini masa kerja i saw: 1) mamat on wheelchair 2) mamat using crutches 3) minah jalan terjengket-jengket. they have one thing in common = disabled/injured.
sambil aku sedang duduk berehat, wheelchair guy lalu depan aku nak hantar cup ke conveyor belt (aku kerja dining hall). secara refleks aku bangun nak offer hantarkan, so takde lah dia kena bergerak jauh merintangi manusia2 lain. then i stopped myself sebab aku out of the blue terfikir, kalau aku yg disabled, aku nak org tolong aku ke tak? cam kira kalau buat sendiri boleh je sebenarnya tapi kalau org tolong lagi laa senang hidup aku.. camtulah..
some of these people might have a pride of their own, such as they would not ask for help unless they absolutely need it, moreover if they have been disabled for their whole life. sedangkan certain2 org yg injured dan perlu guna bantuan alat (seperti crutches) untuk mobilize themselves pun kalau boleh tak mahu pertolongan org kecuali diminta atau amat diperlukan. inikan lagi org yg disabled sejak lahir/umur masih muda. perasaan tak nak menyusahkan org tu sure tinggi. tak pun sure terasa dirinya menyusahkan org, walaupun org tak cakap sebab ye lah nak jaga hati.
so last2.. aku tak tolong pun mamat wheelchair ni (dia selalu ada kat northwood aku selalu nampak dia masa main basketball petang2). mula2 terasa macam ish aku ni jahat gila tak nak tolong org yg perlukan pertolongan, tapi lepas tu aku justify with the fact that mamat ni tak mintak tolong aku mahupun kawan2 dia yg tgh duduk makan dengan dia.
hmm aku pun tak tau apa point aku cakap semua ni, terasa nak cakap je.
anyway, despite boss tempat kerja aku yg racist dan jahat dan tak adil, i am beginning to like the people that i work with.. so aku enjoy gak lah pi kerja sekarang ni.. as long as aku avoid boss, aku ok dan bahagia. tambahan pula budak2 dishroom ajar aku main Euchre (apparently majority student dan union workers yg kerja kat bursley tahu main).. best gak card game ni. i've been playing it on yahoo games for a week now.. i'm hooked.

tiba2.. aku layan AF3 pulak.. ni manluq ngan salahx aa ni ajak aku tgk.. hahah.. dulu aku tgk yg prelude concert yg tiba2 mawi masuk balik tu. first time tgk aku suka amylea. pastu tak layan dah.. haritu tgk concert 5.. aku still suka amylea.. lol.. aku rasa aku suka reza gak.. tapi semua org yg tgk AF3 dari awal and tgk diari bila aku tanya pasal reza semua tak suka mamat tu. mmg benci lah senang cerita. pastu aku tgk concert 4 plak. cam best je reza ni (aku rasa dia nyanyi ok aa gak). tapi tak puas hati ni sbb aku tak paham apsal org benci gila mamat ni. masa annouce percentage masa concert 4 time reza je dia kena boo siot. adoi kesian. dapat pulak comment sultan melaka tu kata idea dia busuk. ape citer cakap camtu.. ishhh.. simon cowell aa ni kot time tu.. hahah.. masa dia keluar concert 5 org jerit gembira tuu.. gila lah.apa perasaan family reza yg tahu majority org tak suka dia.. kesian doohh..tapi since ramai tak suka mamat ni, sure laa ada reason kan.. takkan laa babi buta je tak suka.. so aku kena tgk diari yg dulu2 sebelum reza keluar nak tgk sikit apsal semua tak suka mamat ni. sapa lagi manluq lah aku cari nanti haha.
diari latest.. selamba semua boycott amylea.. perangai macam high school, menda kecik nak kecoh.. mentang2 laa geng.. lantak dia laa tanak tidur ngan korang (i.e. perempuan2 lain) bila idayu keluar (aku tak kenal pun idayu ni, kata baru start tgk). biar laa dia nak tanya banyak soalan kat cikgu. pasal baju free era pun nak kecoh gak.. ntah apa lagi diorang cakap kat dapur tu. aku tembak karang. hahahh..

nyahahahah.. aku layan wimbledon lak tiba2. aku nak sharapova menang for no obvious reasons, but since dia kalah in the semis.. so naturally i was rooting for davenport, but venus won. aku tak kenal pun davenport ni, i just know she exists because apu/hakam selalu amik minah ni masa main game tennis kat bilik belasahan matde at baits 2 years ago heheheh.. i was also rooting for federer. watched his quarter and semifinal matches.. gempak seh mamat ni. i'm no tennis expert, but i thought he was really good. now i understand what apu was saying about his one handed backhand, heheh. compare dengan roddick punya two hand. lol. tapi masa finals tadi which i watched from the second set onwards (lepas France GP habis), i saw how hard roddick was working.. tersokong roddick la plak, lagi best sokong underdog (not to say roddick is an underdog, just in terms of that match), but federer won dengan relax nye haha. hmm.. maybe aku akan start melayan tennis pulak from now on. macam best je.
F1 pulak.. dammit la alonso menang. i acknowledge yg mamat ni gempak tapi aku tak nak dia menang heheheh. ntah apsal. aku tak nak renault menang. schumi got third.. haih.. ok laa kot.. hooray for button who got 4th place.. at last... BAR Honda got their first points.. they are last in constructors points tuu.. hahah lawak gila.. thanks to the Indy Farce. nothing much about race tadi. anyway, i think in a way it is good that the motorsport council delayed the decision of imposing the penalties on the 7 michelin teams. see how things goes first. however, i think by september the magnitude of what happened will be slightly forgotten maybe, so the yet to be imposed penalties will consequently be less severe as well. ntah laa.. i said previously that michelin tak nak admit their mistake, but i forgot to mention that it wasn't pierre dupasquier (sp?) who said that.. it was some other high position guy, aku lupa siapa.. but pierre did say it was their mistake. so in general, what pierre said is more important. so i guess i'm not that mad at michelin anymore. but i still blame them for everything!

Tomorrow will be a big day. All the 7 F1 teams who didn't race in the USGP will be at the disciplinary hearing in Paris. The court will hear their side of the story first before imposing any penalties. Aku sangat lah berdebar-debar to know what the penalties are going to be.
Truthfully, I don't know what to think regarding the race. No doubt it was damned disappointing, even more so to avid fans of F1 like me, and the people who went to Indy. I was there for god's sake. It is definitely the saddest day for F1 in recent history. Yang aku tak puas hati, the fact that Michelin didn't want to take the blame, that's what I read from F1-live.com. It pisses me off like crazy. Clearly they were at fault, if it weren't for their tyres, none of this would've happened. They reported today that the problem was that their rear tyres could not withstand the pressure when the cars go into the banked turn 13, the last turn before the straight depan grandstand. Terang2 they didn't do enough research or testing or simulation or whatever, or maybe they didn't develop the tyres to compensate for the worst case scenario regarding that particular turn. Bridgestone did fine, why can't they? Stupid. This year is the 6th time that F1 races in Indy. They did fine previously, why can't this year? Maybe because the one set of tyre rule threw them off. I don't know. Okay so I accept that engineers do make mistakes. Put aside their tyre problem, but why the fucking hell can't they admit that this whole chaos was their fault? Goddammit I am so mad with Michelin. I swear I'm never going to use Michelin tyres ever.. furthermore tayar Michelin mahal pun haha.
Many F1 personnels from various teams blame Max Mosley because he wouldn't accept any of their proposals before the race. I stand by Mosley in this matter because he was adamant not to bend the rules just because Michelin didn't do their homework.
One of the proposals was, adding a new chicane at turn 13 to slow down the cars coming into that corner. Menurut Jean Todt and Ron Dennis, the chicane could be dangerous because the chicane will not be tested coming into the race. What if it imposes more danger? A valid reason I would say. Mosley did propose that Michelin cars should limit their speed at the maximum allowed for safety reasons (taking into account the tyre factor) coming into corner 13, but the 7 teams didn't want to do that unless Bridgestone cars do the same. Bodoh. They should accept the consequences of their own actions. why should Bridgestone cars do that when their tyres are capable to go into that turn with whatever speed they want?
I am not sure why the 7 teams didn't want to accept Mosley's proposal of using the pitlane (which comes right before turn 13) for each lap. But I guess that's okay because then it wouldn't be race that I want to watch as well. One thing they could do was just race with the uncapable tyres.. and whenever it seemed like the tyres could bring the cars' safety into question, just bring them in and change the tyres la.. THAT would be an interesting race. I don't know how dangerous it would be, but it was worth the try. If things don't go well, barulah decide untuk retire. Understandable lah camtu.
People who follow the politics in F1 surely knows the rift between Paul Stoddard and Max Mosley. I don't want to go into details here but I've been on Stoddard's side in most cases. But after I read Stoddard's personal accounts of his weekend at the USGP, I have to say that I don't agree with him. He blames Mosley for what happened, saying that Mosley should've approved of their many proposals so that the race could've go on. In other words, he meant that under the circumstances concerning the Michelin tyres, some standard rules could've been broken so that the fans got what they wanted. As far as I understand his concern to prioritize the fans, I don't approve of bending the rules (dari segi sports lah, lain2 hal dalam kehidupan seharian lain cerita). So I am a little confused here. All this while I don't really like Mosley's ways of handling the FIA, but in this case, he has done a good job in my pov. But then again, if he did bend the rules, all the thousands/millions of F1 fans wouldn't be pissed at all, the outcome could've been great (kira the race could have been carried out as usual, yg benefit fans jugak). So eventhough I applaud Mosley's effort to keep things fair, it did ruin the race. Hey I am not blaming Mosley at all here, I'm still sticking both my middle fingers to Michelin. I'm just saying the what ifs.
So in all honesty, I don't know what to think. But no doubt aku memang sedih la.. watching the race on tv was definitely not the same at all with actually being at the race. When I saw on the screen all the cars went into the pit and only 6 cars were left on the grid after the formation left.. I was numb.. shocked.. appalled.. sad.. amused.. all together. I didn't even know how to react actually. Before going to Indy, I was watching the news (kat Purdue), so I was well aware of the still on going Michelin tyre problems. However I didn't really think much of it because I was so sure that everything wil be sorted out by race time. I was that confident. The fact that only 6 cars would race sounded so ridiculous I ruled out the possibility of that ever happening. But unfortunately, it did.
After 5 laps or so I was still hoping for a sudden miracle that the Michelin cars would come out from the pit and continue the race albeit being behind by a few laps, 7th and 8th place were still up for grabs and who knows if any of the 6 starters would crash or retire or have mechanical problems etc. And then.. it was 10 laps.. then 20.. then 30.. and all hope was gone, replaced by anger and frustration. In the middle of the race, the screen showed Jenson Button walking in the pit lane carrying a board with the words "Restart the race" on it. I still had hope then. For the first time ever, I've finally secured good seats in an F1 race. We were seating at the corners 5,6 and 7 stand, we could see the cars coming into turn 1 through turn 4.. we had a screen right in front of us, and very loud speakers. the weather was perfect, it wasn't blazingly hot, clouds would come and go but it was definitely not going to rain, angin pun bertiup2 like 5mph.. it was the perfect setting.. and all of it was wasted.
people were mad i tell you. a number of the people went berambus from the race right away. however, most of the fans actually stayed until the end of the race. the stands were still full of reds(ferrari) and blue(renault). i admit that i was a little terharu that many people still stayed eventhough it was only a farce race.. it was a confirmed one-two finish for the ferraris.. and a question of whether the minardis and jordans have enough reliability to finish the 73 lap race. they did. well, they didn't have to push the car to the limit anyway.
the IMS (indy motor speedway) purportedly spent 13.5 million dollars to stage this event. tak pasal2 they lost their revenues. Bernie Ecclestone has been working hard for the past 5 years to break F1 into America. All that effort has gone down the hole. What a disaster. yg lawaknya, some people blamed Bernie for what happened. haha that was really funny.. he is just the commercial rights holder la.. he wasn't even authorized to make any decisions. anyway, Everyone here knows how important consumer satisfaction is in the States, it's in whole new level by itself, nowhere else can compare, not even close, i think. i am still waiting for the reimbursement. Michelin issued a statement today that they would contribute in reimbursing the fans. good for them, eventhough they don't really have to do that. I think the 7 teams should contribute too. maybe IMS should give free tickets for next year to people who went to the race this year. if they do that, too bad i wouldn't be able to benefit from it since I'll be back in malaysia by next year's race.
papehal, i am anxious to know what kind of penalties will be imposed on the 7 teams. I hope it is severe (maybe pay fines yg amat tinggi), but not so severe that it will affect the outcome of this year's championship. deducting constructor's or driver's points must NOT happen. that wouldn't be fair. i'm not sure about race suspension.. even though it is a serves-you-right kind of penalty, but then tak nak laa aku tgk another 6 car race after this. tak sesuai la kalau itu penalty dia, we want to save F1 not destroy it. so papehal i hope the penalties are going to be reasonable enough, and not make us F1 fans mad and hurt anymore..
In the long run, I might even feel proud to say I was at the scene of the saddest day in F1 (not including the days when people died la, macam Ayrton Senna). But for now, shit lahhhhhh!!!
Let me say here that I was mad beyond words that night after the race, in addition to Pistons lost in Game 5. While I was being angry and emotional, Rina said to me "Relaks Kirah, it is only a sport". That really brought me back to my senses. Yeah.. it definitely is only a sport. Aku baru je tulis previously that "sometimes I hate myself for being too engrossed in worldly pleasures".. Sigh.. so Rina, thanks a lot for the reminder..
OMG panjang gila aku tulis pasal menatang USGP ni, just like i predicted.

And so.. the Spurs won. I'm so sad.. devastated.. aku nangis heheh, a little bit during the trophy presentation.. and later when they showed a glimpse of my favorite player Rip in the locker room after the game.. sitting down with his shoulders drooped, head down, right hand on his forehead.. it was hard not to cry even more. Wow I didn't realise that I wanted the Pistons to win so badly. Ahhhh.. emosi.. Nevertheless, I'm so proud of these guys... they managed to push the finals to game 7.. too bad Timmy suddenly emerged with newfound energy in the 2nd half.. and not to mention the early foul troubles for Chauncey and Rasheed.. it kinda disrupted the Pistons offensive flow.. my MVP vote for the series goes to Ben Wallace. but what the hell.. it's all over. I don't like to dwell on "if's".. the past can't be rewritten.. but somehow I wished that Rip played better than his overall performance in this year's playoffs.. it wasn't up to par to what he delivered last season, his games were consistently good throughout, I especially loved his jump shots.. omg it's like he could do it in his sleep.. that's why I liked him so much (still do). but whatever it is, he is still my fav baller despite his lack lustre performance (comparatively) this time round. btw, he had a very good game 6 last tuesday.. the Rip that I came to like. heheh.
Rip.. Mr. BigShot.. Prince.. Big Ben.. Sheeeeed.. McDyess.. Hunter.. my heroes.. heheheh. What's next? WNBA? hahah.. so let's check out Detroit Shock pulak, kalau aku rajin (macam malas je).
I have sooooooo muchhhhh to say regarding the USGP last weekend.. Once I start, it's gonna be hard to stop. So till my next entry.

Sometimes, I hate myself and the people around me for being too engrossed with worldly pleasures. This feeling usually will come and go in a split second, not literally lah, more or less five minutes camtu. Moments later, there I am watching TV shows/movies/animes, downloading songs, reading sports news (NBA dan F1 je for the moment), playing DDR and basketball, chatting nonsense etc etc, you name it. They're not wrong, but too much of 'em can/will make me go astray, if I'm not careful that is. I need to know and understand the important and unimportant things, differentiate them. So how do I set my priorities straight, for the betterment of my afterlife? On top of it all, eventhough I realize what I need to and should do to become a better Muslim, I lack the will power to change my lifestyle. But I'm trying, albeit very slowly. Encouragement and constant reminders are what I need to drive and support me through the process. That translates to, I need my parents. Lately, I've also been looking towards my sister for inspiration and motivation since I found her blog, but she doesn't know this of course.

I drove 2795 miles in 11 days.
I went to Boston and Niagara Falls for the 4th time.
I toured New York City for the 3rd time.
I visited Chicago for the umpteenth time.
I have too much food in my house.
I am dead broke.
I look forward to playing bb every evening.
I need to do my laundry.
I got a handbag from my mom.
I hate Kevin Federline.
I still love Britney Spears.
I want Coldplay's and Kelly Clarkson's album.
I am frustrated with Naruto's current fill in episodes.
I become nauseated looking at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' public love declarations and PDAs.
I can't wait for Real World Austin's premiere next week.
I didn't bid Tel farewell properly (tapi takpe, last night's incident was priceless!!)
I played 4 games of bowling today for 7 bucks only.
I hope the Pistons and Schumi wins tomorrow.
I am going to sleep now.

Six days ago (Tuesday), my neighbor was found dead. Cause of death: suicide. The police found him dead with a 'self-inflicted gunshot wound'. Hmm.. I didn't hear any gunshots though. I wasn't really friends with him, naturally I didn't feel sad when I heard the news. No effect on me whatsoever. The police did ask me a few questions though.. like when was the last time I saw him (sometime during finals week in April), when was the last time I 'heard' him (about 3 days ago, there's always this thudding sounds coming from his living room), are the stuffs outside our hallway his (yup, there's boxes.. chairs.. tables.. tempat exercise yg macam basikal.. and a bunch of other craps), since when (at least 3 months ago)..
I didn't remember his name, even after I received 3 "surat cinta" from him last year, haha. When the University Housing distributed a notice to all residents in my building re his death, I saw his full name written.. barulah aku "Oh ye, nama mamat ni Ken". When the police and DPS were busy cleaning his room.. I was busy dancing my feet(?) off in a DDR marathon at Wahida's room (ground floor under Ken's room hahah), and before that we were celebrating Zul's birthday.
The next morning, aku terbangun because of a reaaallllyyy strong smell.. no no bukan the stench of the body or anything like that.. ni bau bahan pencuci.. damn.. these people must've really cleaned up Ken's apartment.. his bathroom to be more specific, that's where the smell was the strongest.. it traveled to my own bathroom.. he killed himself in the bathtub maybe?
What "surat cinta" you ask? Heheh.. non other than asking me to turn down my speaker volume between 10pm and 7am, heheh. Dia kata dia tidur awal every night.. and sometimes he had to sleep in the living room because my bass (subwoofer) was too loud (the wall between our bedrooms were only 3 inches thick, or so he claimed). At first, I usually forgot to fulfill his request.. and he would leave the notes on my door to remind me, and never failed to mention he had a difficult time to sleep the past few days because of the thumping sound.. lama2 I became used to it.. macam automatically I will turn my speaker volume down come 10pm.. by default. But sometime last week, as I was about to do my "routine".. I suddenly remembered.. "Oh wait.. my neighbor is dead.. I don't have to care anymore".. omg.. that felt weird.. the statement itself sounded weird.. how can I be so casual when my neighbor just commited suicide? I guess it can't be helped..
However, I did feel a little guilty. Not because of the fact that my speaker disturbed him.. I didn't receive any notes/complains from him for at least half a year, so I assumed he wasn't annoyed with me and I have been doing okay. I felt guilty because.. the last time I saw him.. I was coming back from class or exam tak ingat, he was just heading out. I was climbing the stairs, so he waited to give way to me. I ignored him (even though he didn't complain anymore, I still thought he didn't really like me), and suddenly he said.. "HI!".. Aku terkejut sikit.. then replied his greeting.. and went into my room. I felt that I was rude.. but I brushed it off.. who cares.. I said to myself. I was actually thinking about this when I knew he committed suicide.. and I felt guilty because I thought if only I could've been nicer to him at that moment.. yeah yeah maybe this sounds like nothing to anybody but it is something to me. This is the only regret that I have, but nothing too severe that I'd suffer from mental/emotional breakdown.. heheh.. sihat je aku sekarang ni.
Most people (Malaysian community kat Northwood) seem to take this matter lightly, which I don't really care anyway.. But the jokes.. for example..
"haa kirah, kalau ada org ketuk2 pintu kau malam2.. jgn bukak"
"wey kau tak takut ke hantu.. etc etc.."
"aku rasa dia bunuh diri sbb kau selalu buat bising aa kirah"
and many more.. well.. it's just a little unsettling. I can accept lah lawak2 macam ni.. layan je lah. But somehow I felt slightly uncomfortable.. Why make fun of dead people? If it's a person you know, or your own relative, or whatever.. kalau dengar some stranger say stuffs like this, wouldn't you feel mad? Cakap pasal hantu2.. so you think every dead person becomes a ghost ke apa? So he died.. dah la..habis cerita.. right? Memanglah roh org2 yg bunuh diri tak diterima langit dan bumi, but that doesn't mean the roh will kacau aku, or anybody for that matter... right? Hehehh.. I hope I didn't sound over dramatic or upset, cause I'm not. For the record, I'm not lashing out at anybody in particular ok. I can't even remember who said what hahaha.
So note to self, and others hopefully.. seboleh-bolehnya.. buat lah baik kat semua org.. no matter whaaawtt, tak kisah tgh bad mood ka, bengang ka, pms ka, tension ka, etc etc...because you never know what lies ahead.

Monaco GP.. best best.. eventhough aku dapat tgk first 2 laps and final 30 laps of the race je.. tapi aku tgh malas nak type analysis aku pasal race ni. nak cerita menda lain. aku suka helmet raikkonen.. lawa gila.. nick name dia 'Iceman' dia carve kat helmet dia dengan Diamond, which will be auctioned after the race for chariry I think.. together with Montoya's.. mmg lawa.. he's given that nick name sbb dia mmg macam ice.. senyap.. not so friendly.. shy juga kadang2.. tak tunjuk byk emotion.. very calm and composed.. u get the idea.. lol.. pastu red bull racing this weekend tlg promote star wars III.. so kaler kereta pun lain.. tapi aku paling suka pit crew diorang punya costume aa... kali ni diorang pakai warna putih... pastu helmet dia cam bentuk helmet darth vader... wahahhaahhaha.. aku terhibur tgk pit stop vitantonio liuzzi.. hehehe.. tapi tu je laa.. coulthard retire sbb crash in the middle of traffic kot.. aku tak tgk.. liuzzi nye tayar buat hal.. so retire gak.. aiseh.. kalau tak boleh aku tgk lagi pit stop rbr ni.. rugi je costume best2 pit stop satu kali je.. aku nampak george lucas.. pastu kid rock pun ada... pelik gila.. apahal mamat tu tgk F1... sempat ke dia balik US nak tgk east finals game 1 hari isnin ni.. pistons vs heat.. hahahha.. sbb mamat ni selalu tgk game detroit.. takkan la dia nak miss game ni... selambe miss.. lol.. anyway... pasal F1 ni.. aku masih dan akan terus sokong Ferrari walau apa pun terjadi... lain2 team lantak pi.. but i find myself cheering for the racers as individuals.. not for their team.. contohnya.. aku sangat la suka raikkonen dari zaman dia drive utk sauber petronas... sekarang dia drive utk mc laren.. aku still sokong dia.. tapi aku tak sokong mc laren aaa.. lol.
Semalam pi Cedar Point, dapat jugak aku naik Dragster.. the last time I went, it was closed. Best siot. 0 to 120 mph in a few seconds (felt like 3 seconds), then 90 degrees straight up until 420 feet (128 meters), then 90 degrees spiraling down.. all over in 15 seconds. Masa time aku naik, dah sampai 430 feet.. I was bracing myself to face second half of it.. tiba2 rasa cam tgh flying backwards.. jatuh balik rupanya.. hahahaha.. tak cukup power kot.. about 10,000 horsepower.. tak pun ada org berat sangat kot.. lol.. terkejut siot.. jerit cam org gila aku.. hahaha.. so we got 1 and a half ride.. best best. first time round aku cuak gila.. second try.. nasib baik lepas.. and cuak sikiiiitt je.. overall.. dragster best gila.. cuma sekejap gila je.. compare dgn millenium force.. aku lagi suka millenium force.. sbb thrill dia lagi lama... semalam aku tak naik millenium force sbb dia cam stuck lama gila so line pun jadi panjang.. tapi aku dah pernah naik 2 kali dah before this.. dragster pulak perasaan sebelum roller coaster tu gerak lagi intense.. papehal.. dua2 pun worth the wait.. perasaan geram dan penat dan mengantuk dan haus semasa beratur sejam lebih di tgh2 panas pun tak ingat dah...

Aku tak boleh tidur.. so I've been doing some blog hopping for the past 2 hours.. something that I rarely do. It's too time consuming, dan juga tiring. I'm also not interested in reading about the lives of people I don't know and don't care about. I only frequent 3 particular blogs every day. As for the remaining 40+ blogs that are bookmarked in my browser, I visit them about once a week. Maybe twice, depends on my degree of boredom.
Anyway, I made some new blog discoveries.. a couple of friends' and acquaintances'. But paling terkejut sekali, I found my sister's blog!! waaaahhhh.. It's like venturing into a whole new world hahahhaha.. dramatic la pulak. Well.. senang cakap, aku mmg tak close with my sister (and brother). Reading her blog was an eye opener, made me realize a few things..
I sometimes wonder how most bloggers boleh meluahkan perasaan gila gila punya. Don't these bloggers feel transparent? Or do they want to be transparent? Don't they care when strangers read? bla bla byk lagi I'm too lazy to type it all out. For me, I can only write so much, or I'll risk feeling vulnerable. I don't feel comfortable "pouring my heart out" for others to read, it's too private. But isn't this the whole point of blogging, a public 'personal' diary? So why the hell do I have one when I cannot write honestly? Well.. I guess it's part for show.. yes.. for show... and part for my own amusement (mengisi masa lapang?) It's also natural for humans to want what others have. Haha. Sedihnya.
In my pov lah kan.. to write secara honestly 100%, is to write the first thing that comes to mind.. buat ayat tak yah pk dulu.. kalau ada grammar/spelling mistake (sbb type laju sangat ke, tersalah tekan keyboard ke..), jgn betulkan.. because u might lose ur train of thoughts.. in a way, it's like speaking.. we cannot take back what we say.. but we can erase/alter what we write.. so what i mean by not writing 100% honestly.. is something like.. tulis bbrp ayat.. lepas tu betulkan sana sini sikit2.. tukar words sana sini sikit2.. mmg lah the perasaan yg dirasai semasa tulis tu dapat disampaikan.. tapi tak fully honest.. i'm talking about when writing ur emotions here.. kalau nak sampaikan facts, i guess it's better to structure ur sentences carefully.. depends la on the person.
as i'm writing this entry, god knows how many times I've altered my sentences.. and I choose my words carefully.. I stop to think what my next sentence will be..
well.. i am generalizing here, biasa lah. there are many different kind of bloggers out there, duh.. i'm only talking about one of the many types that exist. i'm not saying it's a bad thing either. hehh.. i'm clearly making a disclaimer here, like most bloggers do. why? why must I justify what I previously said? it's irritating u know.. to read, and write disclaimers like this... tapi aku buat jugak. tapi kenapa? pk sendiri. lol.

well.. i am generalizing here, biasa lah. there are many different kind of bloggers out there, duh.. i'm only talking about one of the many types that exist. i'm not saying it's a bad thing either. hehh.. i'm clearly making a disclaimer here, like most bloggers do. why? why must I justify what I previously said? it's irritating u know.. to read, and write disclaimers like this... tapi aku buat jugak. tapi kenapa? pk sendiri. lol.

Interesting read: Famous People Who Stutter
Last week, saw Lifehouse punya performance kat Borders.. for free of course haha. Sedap gak, sebijik cam recording. But nothing much la.. Lifehouse je pun. They walked beside me and I didn't even recognize them. Sedar2, naik stage. hahahha. apa2 ntah. Also pi tgk Pistons vs Pacers Game 1.. it was okay lahhhhh.. easy win, no competition. Lagi best masa aku pi tgk regular season game vs Sixers. This week and next week akan dipenuhi dengan season finale hampir semua tv shows and reality series yg wujud. Yeahh TV adalah best friend aku! I love US tv.......................

dear BUGS,
aku download GSD kat irc -->server: rizon, channel: #anirupt. boleh jugak dl kat #seed-fansubs (rizon), tapi #anirupt release sub lagi laju, by 10 hours camtu. wahahha laju gila. nak dl guna BT boleh jugak, kat SINI. cayalah weyy jom2 layan gsd esok keluar episode 30. hehehehe. btw aku rasa asuran lagi kawaiii dari kira yamato. kira gempak gila tapi dia suka nangis lah. haha.
-----------
It goes without saying that Americans like to talk about themselves. I was in one of the anime channels on mirc, namely #db (short for Dattebayo, fansub group yg sub Naruto), waiting for the bots to release their pack number so I can start downloading Tsubasa Chronicle episode 6. The Narutards, i.e. anime Naruto freaks, were talking crap as always, and the following** clearly depicts how a conversation typically goes between Americans (yg aku selalu dengar).. especially kalau dalam bas.. hahaha.. I'm generalizing, but this is pretty much the gist.. heheh.. 90% of it pretty much consists of each person talking about themselves, as if they're not even listening to what the other person is saying hhahahaha..
..
**gambar yg di-click will likely appear blurry. most ppl sure dah tahu camana nak besarkan. but to those who doesn't, begini caranya.
Firefox users:hover mouse above pic, kanta pembesar will appear, click on pic.
IE users:hover mouse above pic, small icon will appear on below right corner, click on icon.

Just finished watching Love Generation for the second time. Watched it less than a year ago and I've already forgotten the story line. Takuya Kimura mmg best. Bila la drama baru dia nak keluar ni.
Kingdom of Heaven. It was better than I expected. Ye lah.. nama pun Orlando Bloom. The only movie yg dia tak jadi lembik dan bapuk was in The Lord of The Ring hahaha.. and Pirates of the Carribean kot. Tapi dalam Kingdom of Heaven pun takde la macho mana. But considerably better. Kinda surprised with the impartiality of the story line. The movie's portrayal of Muslims were also okay. The only weird part was that they showed Muslims semayang jemaah jauh2.. semasa azan. Other than that, all was good. No wonder lah the movie lepas untuk ditayangkan di Malaysia. Saw Mr and Mrs Smith punya preview. Huwooo macam best je cerita tu.
TNB has to be the most lepak sponsors of all time I tell you. I made just one call, cakap mulut je, and my one semester extend is granted, tak banyak tanya. Satu soalan je, why? Reason: have to take 2 more core classes. Senang gila. Nak get through to the right person pun senang nak mampus. And I didn't even know who the kakak I talked to. I just said, "Boleh saya bercakap dengan kakak yg handle students in US?" hahahha. I'm blessed to be a YTN sponsored student.
Only one week into my four month holiday and I'm already bored bored BORED. The only plan that I have now is to go to Cedar Point. Itu pun sbb nak bawak Deera and Tel. Kalau jadi, it'll be my fourth time there, yes I like Cedar Point that much. This time I am definitely going on to ride Dragster! 0 to 130mph in what.. 10 seconds? or is it 5? Just talking about it makes me excited!! Roller coasters are the besttttttt!
Pistons mara ke pusingan kedua hehehe. No surprise there. I cannot wait to go see Round 2 Game 1 this Monday. Seating tak best la tapi. The price is also higher than it would have been if it was a regular season game, with regard to the seats that we got. But tak kisah laa.. it's a playoff game man!!
It's Spanish GP weekend. Ferrari didn't do so well in the first qualifying, surprisingly they expected it. What lah.. aim higher laa Ferrari! BAR Honda is also banned from two races, including the Monaco GP. Huwaaaa kesian Jenson Button.. his points, and also Takuma Sato's, were nulled. Penat je dapat podium in San Marino. This weekend, I'm voting for Kimi Raikkonen.

I found this website.
This is hilarious. Nearly half the list are bad traits. Some are glaringly wrong. Some are right on the dot. Check out the site, just for fun.
OKTOBER
-------
suka sembang
suka orang yang sayang padanya
suka ambil jalan tengah
sangat menawan dan sopan santun
kecantikan luar dan dalam
tidak pandai berbohong dan berpura-pura
mudah rasa simpati, baik, pentingkan kawan
sentiasa berkawan
hatinya mudah terusik tetapi merajuknya tidak lama
cepat marah
pentingkan diri sendiri
tidak menolong orang kecuali diminta
suka melihat dari perspektifnya sendiri
tidak suka terima pandangan orang lain
emosi yang mudah terusik
suka berangan dan pandai bercakap
emosi yang kelam kabut
daya firasat yang sangat kuat (terutamanya perempuan)
suka melancong, bidang sastera dan seni
pengasih ,penyayang dan lemah lembut
romantik dalam percintaan
mudah terusik hati dan cemburu
ambil berat tentang orang lain
suka kegiatan luar
orang yang adil
boros dan mudah dipengaruhi persekitaran
mudah patah semangat
