heres the skinny

after a very crazy night full of weather (hail, thunder & lightning, crazy canyon wind, buckets of rain and hai tossin and a turnin in the bed. it was straight up crazy), it was extremely cold today. yesterday it was over 90 and today it was in the 40's. because of the cold weather, Mae got to wear her skinny jeans for the first time and a very cute shirt (thanks Grandma Scarbrough). i am pretty dang sure we were more excited about the jeans then she was. the tightness tends to hinder her walking a tad. also threw in a picture of Mae at the park a couple days ago. as you can see she is full blown walking now. it is adorable.

Jonah update..

after a trip to the doctor, everything seems to be heading south :) jonah was breech at the last appointment so it was good to find out he has behaved himself and put his head down. hailey said he is a mama's boy already. Doc said baby Jonah is most likely going to be in the 7 lb range. we are very excited about his arrival and are trying to do all we can to be prepared (ya right!) we are expecting down right craziness in the scarbrough home here in about a month. Drew's next set of midterms is when the baby is due. we are SO good at planning these things!?

one of the places, you just don't like

my relationship with this place for sure falls under the category of "love/hate"

i took my first Accounting Junior Core test today, my butt has been kicked

my experience: forgot my glasses. by the end of the test I had my head in such a weird position trying to read and calculate the small text on the paper (i see very very poorly out of one eye). time limit on my test, was calculating until the very sec I ran down to turn in my test before the time limit was up. (didn't get to finish)

you just want to see a "terrific job" next to your score so bad

Align Center
"terrific job" is far from what it said today. life goes on? right?
the love part of the relationship is when you totally nail a test that was really hard. opposition in all things i guess

any good testing center stories anyone? (make me feel better about mine?)

I Love.......

I love my little family.

I love how sweet my husband is; he is especially sweet to me when he is sleepy. Making sure I am comfortable, asking if I need a drink, telling me to wake him up if I need anything, he will even offer me his favorite pillow. He does this when I'm not pregnant too. It is the cutest thing.
I love when just a smile from Mae or a sweet little kiss can make my whole day. I didn't realize how touched I could be by something so small and simple.
I love Sundays. The one day we get to spend our day all together. No School, No work, No errands, etc.
I love learning with Drew the things we want to teach and instill in our children.
I love how Mae says " MaMa".
I love that I have been blessed with a miraculous body that allows me to grow and conceive children through my Heavenly Fathers plan.
I love that soon we will have another member in our growing little family.
I love the gospel.
I love being LDS.
I love faith.
I love Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.
These are the things I especially love today.

MALS 20!!!!

We had fun celebrating Mal's big 20th birthday on Sunday with homemade pizza and a yummy funfetti cake WITH funfetti frosting, all of which the birthday girl requested.
Abby, Whitney and Celeste (Mal and Abby's roommate) came over to join in on the festivities. I can't believe she is 20 now. No longer a teenager. Next year at this time she may already have her mission call (if she desires to do that still).
We LOVE LOVE LOVE having Mal down here with us and try to see her whenever possible. We are anxious for Divine Comedy to start up. I couldn't help but throw in a picture from her try-outs. Hope you had a rockin' good birthday Mal, we love you!

Lindsey Pool

Below is a new music video by Lindsey Pool (Zach's band). Ksenia has posted it on her blog but I wanted to post it here as well to make sure anyone that doesn't look at Ksenia's but looks at our blog can see it as well.

The first time I saw/heard Zach play was in Seminary. Brother Mauer (our seminary teacher in high school) asked him to come in and play some different songs that he had written. It was by far one of the best days in seminary that I can remember. I thought he was awesome. He wrote a song about serving a mission (Should I Serve - i believe) and after having Hailey get me cd copies of everything he had ever recorded, I listened to it many times while I prepared for my mission. I made sure to attend to every event/show he performed at after that day while in high school (was also trying to be where Hailey was). I can remember when Postal (Zach's band name back in the day) had a cd release party in the courtyard at Glencoe. I got one of their cd's and rushed home and ripped it onto my computer right away.

Anyways, I think this video is awesome! Just wanted everyone to have a chance to see it.

+ Size Latin Dancing

For those of you who are not familiar with what Divine Comedy is, click on the link. Mallory auditioned tonight for it and rocked it. This is just the very end of her audition, and sorry the video is horrible. It was taken on my horrible digital camera. No one else even came close to her act. She really did steal the audience! Check it out...

New Do's

We could be biased, but do we not have the CUTEST most ADORABLE little girl?! Although we've been super busy getting things unpacked and settling into routine again, I could not help myself in doing this little girls hair. Can you believe with all the moving and squirming she does that she actually lets me do it? I know, you could say I am amazing for being able to do such a thing. haha Mae is very patient with me.....sometimes.
