A WINDY DAY

i just came back from my lunch. it was a lunch that is never meant to be forgotten.

i ate prawn wanton mee. the prawn looks good but taste awful. while eating, 3 cats were staring and meowing at me because they were too hungry and trying to act pitiful so that i will spare them some food.

apparently i am so damn hungry that i didn't offer them anything. thus, i suffered retribution. i think the cats used some curse and created a BIG BIG WHIRL OF WIND that is preventing me to eat my noodles in peace. my noodle literally flew because they were hanging in mid air and tada! my whole arms was stained with the noodle sauce.

next, i tried to drink the soup. this time, the soup also flewww before i suck them into my mouth. once again, the same arm got soaked with the MSG-lots soup.

this is not the end.

then the wind became stronggggerrr! my friend's can drink almost flew away! then a man at another table, his spoon got blown away!! before he could reach out in time to save his spoon, THE CHAIR AT HIS TABLE FLEW! i'm not exaggerating but the chair fell and drag on the ground! WAHAHAHHAHAA so funny can! then my friend's plate almost flew also! imagine if it flew and it landed up on her face, then what a day it will be!

i msg zh and told him everything around me is flying away. you know what he replied?

"the rubbish bin at my bunk flew away also!"

S.H.E CONCERT

this is supposed to be an EAGERLY ANTICIPATED DAY for zh and me but the BBQ destroyed 1% of my happiness. we went there to start fire and make a hell out of stuff when we are going on a concert. we ended up being super smelly, greasy, dirty, wet (cuz it rained) and hot (the fire is 200deg i think). what irks me is that there are maybe 2 people who stand there and do nothing (okay maybe they used their mouth to instruct and eat but their hands never move).

aiyah whatever! after we stepped out of the chalet, there were whisperings which are just so irritating to the ears. whatever you want to say, SAY IT OUT LOUD LIKE WHAT I'M DOING ON MY BLOG NOW. and please, i totally detest people who "act like they know everything abt zh and me" when "you only know we hold hands". please stop acting clever. it just show how desperate you are.

okay! time to share 98% of my happiness with you! (the other 1% went to the 1 hour jam to the stadium cuz of the spore vs m'sia which the darn cab fare cost $20 and the way back to the chalet another $20. oh yes another very gay thing. both of us were wearing england jersey so when we were walking towards indorr stadium, everyone stared at us cuz it seems like we entered the 'wrong stadium'.) the start! can u imagine they sang 45 mins continously without any break! i was trying very hard to keep up with their singing when they are not even panting at all! ella on the castle! selina at the foot of the castle hebeee! the overall stage 8x zoom selina's hot dance! omg she strip 3 times and the last one she's like wearing panties only HAHAHAHA zh was so damn high! FLH!!!! and hebeeeee! zhi dui ni you gan jueeee! FLH sang chao xi huan ni and ai dao. stefff!! they sang di yi tian together, then stef sang wan mei de yi dian and another unknown song. changed costumee~ this is 12x zoom, meaning the max zoom on my cam. i think this they were singing persian cat~ ella~ hebe! is this "zhe me ban?" THEY RAN DOWN FROM THE STAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHH! hebe's hairpin got pulled off, people were desperately touching selina's sweaty body, ella's fats are being grabbed by the fans infront. hahahaha! HEBE PLAYING DRUMS! DAMN COOOLLLL! (this time i very high) hebe! hebe! hebe! SUPERSTAR ok, that was the last song and my batt died :D i took some using my phone's cam though. hahahas. anyway i took 400 pics and deleted 100 so i am left with 300. a very worthy concert!! :D:D:D:D:D

oh ya, to show my appreciation to zh (wahseh like some cheena custom) i baked cookies for him on friday night at 11pm! my neighbours must be cursing at me cuz i think i made them very hungry when they were abt to sleep.

toh li ping finally received her first bouquet of flowers from her secret admirer who is earning $1/hr in tekong today! poor delivery man because he tried to knock the door at 7.30am to wake someone from my family up but he failed apparently. he had no choice but to leave it at the shoe rack. hahahaha.

my mama was so funny cuz she only saw the delivery order and not the flower so she only passed the paper to me.

i met a jinx at my office. it is so scary that i cannot help but to believe it!

i finally played some badminton yesterday with edward lee. although he forced me to play doubles with those lao pek pek, i refused cuz we will defnitely be thrased. the 1.5 hour of running and smashing definitely help to recover my arms back. hope they are not that flabby now. and it is aching now arhhh.....

after lunch now and i'm super sleepy. i think i need to sleep very early tonighttt... zzzzzz

this weekend is the class chalet and once again it is the same old pple buying food. hurhur.. haiyah i'm used to it liao what's new anyway? :)

MY WORK

1. supervisor knows i'm leaving on the 16th (YAY!) and she asked why so i just told her the truth. what i am very happy is that there are people who felt unjustified for me. well, if all those gossips never occur at all, i wuld have stayed. $7 leh!

2. remember my previous post about the plastic sheet? apparantly PEOPLE in the office are so HAPPY with what i've drawn that they requested for ANOTHER COPY. ya i feel so honoured because obviously they know no one wants to draw tt stupid sheet for goodness sake!

3. i know this is dumb but, MY CPF HAS A TOTAL OF $350!!!! :D (from 1 mth plus work!)

4. i really hate paying for adult fare. REALLY.


LEISURE

1. watched gabiron gang by the rock. it is a really nice movie, maybe except for the title which zh and i are noobs cuz both of us cant pronounce the title initially.

2. went town and shopped today and saw loads of people. but my dress sense was abit off today, i looked like some chao ah lian (tube with super short skirt) lol.

3. LIVERPOOL BEAT CHELSEA. wahahahhaahhaa! if man u wins arsenal tml then, hooray!

4. i need to get 1 dress, some skirts and tops, belts, ear rings (so ironic i think my ear hole has disappeared) shoes and bags. isn't that like EVERYTHING?

5. eyesight has deterioated. it must be the countless excel sheets i've been doing in office.

6. woke up near 2pm today when i told zh i will wake up at 11am. he smsed me 5 times HAHAHAHA (oops)

7. i'm so fair that i am so disgusted by it so i'm going suntan soon.

MY WORKPLACE PART 2

firstly, i deeply apologise to those who chatted with me on msn this afternoon but i didnt reply you because i was busy FUMING and getting 'suan' (tease) by people in DIFFERENT depatrtments. for what reason - I DUNNO.

well it started on monday i guess. please refer to 2 entries earlier than you'll briefly know why. workload is never ending and the HR department is not really treating me very well, but i heck about that cuz i don't have to work directly under them. so the part about OT is a small problem.

next, personally i believe the saying 'practise makes perfect'. you know why? because in my department, i can excel in preparing the document to excellence because i do at least 10 of it everyday. however, if you dumb a document to me at most 1 per week do you expect me to do it fast and accurately? apparently i'm STUPID so i do it wrongly lor. even my NOTES never help me. what's even more challenging is that i am handed 3 at one go, plus other miscellaneous stuff that other colleagues passed to me. so i believe it is inevitable that i get BLUR sometimes. pardon me, I AM BLUR AND CONFUSED EASILY (as stated i my RESUME when i went for interview).

thirdly and what irritates me the most is GOSSIPS. as a temp (and introvert) staff, i hardly talk in office (okay alot on msn but still) and i didn't know i am SO popular. i'm in operations department and i always sense some people are always staring at me from other departments, sometimes laughing and giggling. i told myself that 'aiyah, don't be too sensitive lah. they talk about for what? you're not some celebrity'. wah apparantly i think i am angelina jolie lor, people from 3 departments are gossiping about me leh. i'm the female lead and there are 2 other male leads. people come and ask me "eh, where is your beloved _____?", "eh, how come your beloved ______ never help you to draw that thing?", "eh, you beloved tml got come to work or not?"

like, WTF???? am i their wives/worms in their stomach/hair/whatever??? 1 is my boss and another is my colleague. i'm working UNDER them and is there anything so interesting? i have very little faith and trust in people but i tried to be objective when i entered the company, treating everyone with my nicest gestures and helping people as much as i can. what do i reap? "oh that girl dunno why treat pple so well leh..."

i've shortlisted a few ones on "high alert", a few on "semi-alert" and some with "need to wear ultraman mask" (to block the things away). i'm really fed up with the accounts people today that i almost burst into tears (ok not burst lah but the anger is really building up as tall as taipei 101) can! moreover the work my supervisor ask me to do i did it wrongly! so angry with myself! i was so agitated that i emailed my agency to ask if "i can cancel the extention"!!!! think my agency is quite fed up but they earned my $4/hour leh, hahahha.

i'm really HAPPY and BLESS that i told them that I'M NOT GOING TO THE DINNER ON FRIDAY. wtf man! i will probably puke! i think my manager will talk to me regarding my problem tml since they (supervisor n manager) met today. i know it will be a brainwashing session, but i will voice out my unhappiness and do what i like - that's not being accused of.

i don't mind getting sack - cuz tt means my agency cannot 'eat' 50% of my pay. HAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!

oh yes, there are really DIFFERENT kind of people in an office. let me shortlist some of those in mine.

1. gossipers, obviously
2. self deluded, quite many too. (they either think they are super smart/super experience/super impt/super busy/super pretty/super sexy)
3. backstabbers (duh, i met 1 this evening)
4. bootlicker (ya me. to my manager out of unwillingness)
5. poor temp staff who get scolded
6. poor temp staff who are treated as invisible (u know why? cuz today there are 2 new colleagues being introduced into the company. the HR girl brought the 2 new colleagues to everyone and introduced them formally and when it was my department, the HR girl said "this is ____, manager of operations." they turned around and it was my desk with ME there. the HR girl saw me, and turned away. then the HR girl said "eh that is _____, executive...". am i really that fair and translucent enough to not able to spot me? what the hell like i care!)
7. pple like me who is forever complaining here. hahahaha

i think this entry is long enough. i will keep you guys updated whether i get sacked tml. HAHA. byebye!!!

MY WORKPLACE

a picture says a thousand words. so, just a sneak preview of my WORKPLACE which i spent at least 8.5 hours at.

1. the stupid factory which i hate!

the 'outside' where all the BIG BIG containers and goods are being kept. 1 thing topple down and i'll be dead.

the 'inside'. same thing anything drop i will die too.

the INSIDE. here got air-con. but with 2 very pathetic windows 98 comp which are even slower than mine in office.

2. wanted to show you the pic of my desk but my stupid phone won't listen. so skip.

3. MY MASTERPIECE that will linger in the office for another 2 years

yes fantastic system. in 21st century they are using this to record their weekly container loading (meaning to keep track of their shipment) using this.
the vertical and horizontal lines are drawn on the transparent plastic sheets which you and me used to wrap our books. YES THAT!
familiar handwriting? yeah mine! this is in perfect condition until they used it and something cropped up. so, I HAVE TO REDRAW AGAIN. (less than 2 weeks old pls)
starting step. trying to calculate the width and height of each box. the transparent plastic sheet is 1.2m x 2m for your info. each box the height is 4cm and width 2cm. plus some allowance and some parts are permanent while some temporary ink. i drew at least 80 of that small boxes. cool huh?drawwww....

first monday blues @ work

i think today is my FIRST monday blues.

1. it started out as a very sleepy morning for me. luckily the traffic didn't ignore me too much.
2. i had to wait outside the office for more than 30 mins because the person holding they keys was late. but it's okay since i bought 8-days to entertain myself with.
3. around 10am, i was given one stack of things to do. never mind i'm used to it.
4. spent around 45 mins trying to match the documents which made me totally blur but i tried my best.
5. gave my supervisor what i've collated. she asked "are you okay today or not? how come so lost and not focused in your work"
6. abit pissed, but it's okay.
7. however, the anger seemed to grow and roll.
8. went for lunch super late and came back 15 mins late. got a call from my supervisor. can hear that she sounded pissed.
9. i am pissed too. so i showed black face.
10. my supervisor asked me to call another of my colleague suddenly. i stunned for a while but i called him.
11. he invited me to our department's annual dinner, a treat from our manager.
12. i don't think i'm going cuz i was pissed at that time. but i told him i will get back to him. i feel quite bad cuz he thinks i shld go.
13. around 4pm, i'm quite okay because it seems like no one dared to ask me to do things (hahahaha)
14. i left office at 6.45pm.
15. it totally rocks when i don't have to work OT. so, i wont do anymore OT starting tml!

anyway, i am very troubled by what zh's dad told him. someone enlighten me. i don't want to read too much into things but sometimes i am really disappointed when even my close friends are not willing to give me serious advice and always saying 'aiyah you don't think that way lah". it sounds very "fu yan" (comforting for the sake of it).

yeah. i need heart to heart talks. =(

I went blog-hopping since 1am (right after my entry earlier) and I found out something (actually lots).

1. MY BLOG IS NOT (NEVER) CONSTRUCTIVE.
2. I don't use proper english.
3. All the things I type are in small caps.
4. Full of "lahs" (wrong "lah" somemore), wahseh, kns (!!!!)
5. Very cheena.
6. Only a handful tag on my blog (because I am doing this discreetly what)
7. Mrs Tan/Mr Ng/Mrs Lam/Mrs Sandhu/Mr Chua/Mr Michael/Mrs Seng (my english/GP tutors since primary 1) will be very sad to know that their student blog this way.
8. The blogskin is too childish.

Hence, I will try to omit all those above. But, I feel so awkward. This is so unlike myself, right friends? Being so formal and serious (which I never was)!!!!! *eeek*

Maybe I should blog lesser about being so money-face (haha, who isn't?), so cheena (okay I will change this for the sake of my beloved Ranitha), my office politics and happenings (this is because I am going to publicise my blog), complaints (hahahahahahaha seems like everyone is blogging how sian the office is, but for me most of the time I'm doing work so I have not feel the 'sian-ess' for most of the time.

Anyway I visited my Geography tutor's blog just now and I miss her! Although I hateeeee tuition since primary school, but because I am not intelligent, I need extra help. Back to the topic, I really miss bombing her with weird Geog essay questions which both of us will take a long time to process and try to argue what the question is asking. Sometimes we confuse each other too, hahahaha. I think I am a "wen ti shao nian" (problematic kid) because I am always ready with tonnes of questions/doubts that I need her to clarify. Haiz, I think she is quite affected by me on my last Geog paper because I couldn't answer them. SOBS.

Oh well, maybe you won't read it but I want to say: Lorraine tutor! Your "bitch" is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable! hahahahaha :D

Another serious (and hot) topic. Should I take up driving? Seems like everyone around me (maybe only those in MJC) have already signed up! What is hindering me is not the cash (surprisingly) but because I AM SCARED!!! You know why? Every morning I see the way my papa drives and I am really scared to meet drivers like him who 1) drives in the middle of 2 lanes 2) change his lane without signaling. Moreover, the crazy weather this period makes driving very dangerous. As I progress to become more 'blur' after working, my retardness has accelerated tremendously so I don't think I will be a safe driver on the road. Although adult fare is eating to me slowly (at least I remember to tap when I alight unlike alot others who forgot), but I think petrol cost will kill me faster because of the selfish organisation like OPEC. Ya, so I think I will give driving a miss. I will reconsider after my A's. Lala~

I was chatting with zh yesterday while walking and we came across this topic so suddenly.

me: "you think who in our class will change alot ah?"
zh: "erm, dunno leh."
me: "then who do you think will dye/highlight their hair?"
zh: "..." *thinking*
zh: "**** (sorry i don't wish to name her), jean?"
me: "yaya, maybe"
zh: "shazana???!!"
me: "huh??!! i don't think so cuz she is very religious"
zh: "simon??"
me: "really meh. he is so niao and cheapo! (HAHAHAHAHAHA)"
zh: "hahaha ya, but i think he will leh."
me: "i don't think so. even after o's when we were classmates during 1st 3 mths, his hair is still very black. whole class i think my hair was the brightest, even brighter than ms yeo. aikboon thought i was some ah-lian lor."
