Perawatan Tali Pusat | Cara Merawatnya

PENGERTIAN

Memberikan perawatan tali pusat pada bayi baru lahir sampai tali pusat mongering dan lepas dengan spontan.

TUJUAN

1. Mencegah terjadinya infeksi
2. Mempercepat proses pengeringan tali pusat
3. Mempercepat terlepasnya tali pusat

PERSIAPAN

a. Persiapan Alat
- Alkohol 70% dalam tempatnya
- Kasa steril 1 buah
b. Persiapan klien
Setelah dimandikan dan dikeringkan, bayi dibaringkan diatas meja khusus atau tempat tidur.

PELAKSANAAN

1. Cuci tangan
2. Buka kasa pembungkus tali pusat, bila susah di buka, kasa pembungkus terlebih dahulu dibasahi dengan lidi waten alcohol 70%
3. Bila tali pusat masih basah/lembab bersihkan tali pusat dengan lidi waten alcohol 70% dari pangkal menuju ujung tali pusar sampai bersih.
4. Kemudian oleskan betadine 10% seperti cara diatas (dari pangkal ke ujung tali pusat)
5. Tali pusat kemudian di bungkus dengan kasa steril (Bentuk segitiga) dan ikatkan dengan cara lipatkan.
6. Kemudian pakaian bayi dikenakan dan dirapikan
7. Cuci tangan kembali. 

PERHATIAN

1. Perawatan tali pusat dilakukan secara rutin setiap selesai mandi dan sewaktu-waktu bila diperlukan.
2. Daerah sekitar tali pusat harus selalu dalam keadaan kering dan bersih untuk mencegah terjadinya infeksi.
3. Dilarang menggunakan plester untuk menguatkan ikatan karena bisa terjadi iritasi pada kulit bayi.
