Definition: iPhone Duo
Apple's first foldable phone, which debuted in the fall of 2026 with iOS 18. The iPhone Duo has two panels with 5.5" and 8" displays and at least a 5,500 mAh battery. Like a tablet and other foldable phones, the Duo can show multiple apps side by side. The Duo does not have a telephoto lens or Face ID.

The Duo inspired the imagination of interface designer Vidit Bhargava, who created a Walkman tape player app for the foldable. A breakthrough product in the 1980s, the Walkman enabled people to easily listen to music on the road.
