Le.Gardenie... I'm pretty sure most of the girls know this comic as it was published in Gempak or Utopia I cant remember. The author is Ben. It's basically a story of midschoolers love affairs as the protagonist life is surrounded with beautiful girls and he being too greedy stand helpless as everything fall apart in front of him. ok I made that up because I hate the main character. It's basically called Le.Gardenie as all the characters are named based on fruits i.e Apple, Lemon, Kiwi, and Orange.

Since it is a product from Ben, the drawings are beautiful. i just love it and the setting is based on french remote town if im not mistaken. nevertheless, i dont like the storyline. the only reason i keep the comic is because of the artwork. the storyline is just...... i dont know.. should i say sickening? lol. basically I can only read one chapter at one time because i will feel really disgusted with the main character, orange. Ben managed to depict him as a greedy weak spineless coward person with no manliness at all. that is why i cant stand reading the story.

so yeah there are 4 volumes in total though the last part of the comic is done by someone else because Ben quit Gempak. so the storyline had a sudden change just like Fatal Chaos.

Fatal Chaos

Another comic review but this time a Malaysian comic. support our local product laa.... yeap the name is Fatal Chaos and the author is Benny Wong Thong Hou known as Ben. I did this comic review as I'm a huge fan of Ben. this comic was published by Art Square Group in Gempak, Starz magazine.The story goes around Rex, the main character who is transferred to a school because of his behavourial problem and he likes to fight with other people. Coincidently, he gets involved in a fighting competition organized by the school known as Royal Survivor and there he met his new friends Max, a Thai-boxing fighting style, Eva and Eve. Unfortunately, he also get involved indirectly with the Evil Rabbit, a group that try to conquer the tournament and everything become screwed up as Rex falls in love with Eva while try to figure out his own background and facing problems with nasty Evil Rabbit.

personally, i really like the comic as the art is really great. 5 stars for the arts but this comic disappoint me from the storyboard as the ending is so plain and in fact it is sooooooo shitty. yeah that's what I say. the storyboard was great at the beginning but when Ben quit GempakStarz they replace the artists and author to Juice which has different style of drawing and I guess they were in a haste to finish the story quickly. Damn it!!! Ben didn't finish the drawing the comic and i was really sad bout that. Nevermind though. looking towards his current comics like Battle of Destiny and Celestial Destroyer.

Eyeshield 21

Heehah! another comic review post after a long pause. remember that i did say I want to do comic review? and here's the second one...



Eyeshield 21 is a sport manga mainly about american football. This one of a must-read manga for sport lover reader written by Inagaki Riichiro. It is also categorized under shonen manga and comedy manga.

The main character, Kobayakawa Sena is the running ace in Deimon Devil Bats team. He is the running back and he plays as Eyeshield 21, the legendary running back from Japan who used to play in Notredame university.It all started with him being recruited into the american football club by Hiruma Yuichi and Kurita Ryokan. Their aim is to play in the Christmas bowl and become the champion. Kobayakawa Sena finally meet the real Eyeshield 21 along the way to achieve his dream on becoming the best running back.

i Personally like this manga because it is a sport manga and the plot is good too. there is never a dull moment in the story. the drawing is also good and overall i rate this manga 5 star!!! YAHAA!!!! Kill Them ALL!!!!

Gash Bell

Konjiki No Gash Gash Bell or in english Zatch Bell/Gash Bell (gash Emas dalam BM. aku x taw nape) by Raiku Makoto is a great manga. it is categorized action, comedy, and also one of the shounen manga

the story starts with Takamine, an extra genius boy who met with a demon child, Gash that came to his home naked by clinging to an eagle.WTF? they are destinied to be a partner in order to help Gash fought with other demon child sent to earth. Gash has decided to become the king of demon world for he will become a kind king. in order to do that, he must survive this battle royale and be the last one standing. his adventure with takamine has helped him alot to become stronger and learnt a lot of thing. in the mean time, Takamine also change from a highly ego bastard to someone more friendly and he manage to have lots of friends thanks to Gash.

i like the plot of the story as it has humour and also action which different(not just ordinary battle). the drawing is ok laaa but not bad at all. overall i rate this manga 4stars.
