Well some of u might of alreddy seed dis pikshur (sawry it so blurry but i wuz too excited & fightin wif Human2 about takin ma pikshur). Last Caturday ma mailman shoved a big envelope thru ma mail slot. I ran to the door qwik cause I wuz hopin it wuz des pikshurs & yet I wuz hopin it not da pikshurs cause da jerk shoved dem thru ma mail slot!
Well we ripped da envelope open and inside were four pawsum signed photos from Adrienne Barbeau. Herz pawtographed dem wif “Thanks for Helping” Above her signature. How cool iz dat!
Well I did set H2 rite to werk gettin all our pawtographed items up on ebay in our SCIFIpawty Autograph “room”. I will be puttin dis up on SCIFIpawty.com too, but wanted u all to seed it first.

World’s Best Cat Litter New Scent Unveiled

We got a box of smelly good litter from World’s best Cat Litter to give a try. I used to use World’s Best but for some reason I stopped going in the box. My humanz think it might be time to try it agin. Human2 absolutely loved WBCL. It clumps great, very little dust (unlike wot we are using now *cough*) and the box smells really are reduced. The only draw back wuz da strong corn smell. Den WBCL came out wif da lavender scented litter, but it was too powerful a smell for us & human2 (who never really likes anyfin lavender scented).
So here’s hoping I like da new stuff. Dis new smell iz forest scent.
Me and da monsters all decided to gather round and check it out.

Da monsters thought dey could just use da box it comed in az a litter box. Silly girls. We also wanted to make dis a scratch n sniffs blog post, but H2 told me dat we could no do dat. Pfffft.
So I guess we will just have to smell it for you.

So Piper & I stepped up for da first whiffs.

Den Phoebe hads to gib it a BIG BIG sniff. Human2 gave it a good smell too and sed it iz a very mild foresty scent dat we should all be able to handle.

I gonna gib dis ma meow of approval. We gonna gib it a try in our boxes. H2 haz alreddy started mixing it in wif da utter litter and so far so good. So mehbe we be back in business doin r business in a better fur us n less messy litter.

Disclosure: We were given da litter to review da product, but it haz no impact on wot we fink about sed product (hai we told u rite away we did no like da lavender when it first comed out). I tells it likes it iz.

Human2 got up early last Caturday and wented out wif out me.
Herz wented to a train & toy show ovah at da expo center (dats where dey will be havin da Pet Expo, which is unfortunately da same weekend az SCIFIpawty).

OMC. My twitter pal, Tillman (@TillmanSkates) haz his beary own TV show wot iz in its second season and now on da Hallmark channel called Who Let The Dogs Out. It iz a pawsum show and u shuld all set ur DVRs (cause it is unfortunately in da middle of da day on Fridays….boo Hallmark). But Tillman and all da doggies on da showin doin pawsum tricks iz well worth the DVR time honest.
Dis week dey featured clips from BLOGPAWS. I did miss out on going to BlogPaws last year cause of a fambly emergency (& I wuz just heart broken to learn dat not only would I miss ma pals from previous BlogPaws I would not hab a chance to meet Tillman).
Seeing da show kinda made up for missin da real fing. I got to seed all ma pals right der on ma TV (dis is somefin I don’t even get to do when H2 gets to go to BlogPaws).
We are so looking forward to getting to BlogPaws 2013 where H2 gets to learn new tricks too. It iz a great conference for pet bloggers to learn how to better der bloggies and network wif fellow bloggers. Dis year we gonna try and get us sum guest bloggers here on my bloggy. Wot do you all finks about dat?

By now you should all know how much I likes goin outside and nommin on grass & just feelin to fresh airs on ma furs. Well I musta furgots how cold winter can get especially when it be snowin. Human2 wuz outside doing stuff. I knew it wuz sumfin fun and not da horrible hard work of snow shovelin dat herz sed it wuz. So I sneaked out when H1 opened da front door. Since H2 wuz in da back I had transverse da horrible white stuffs on the ground.
I made ma move to go around it, but instead of goin out da nice shoveled walk I decided to go along da house where I spied sum grass stickin out of the white stuffs. Dis wuz not a smart move mind you. I gotta half way ovah to H2 and I got stuck. Der wuz a bush in ma path. It blocked da little bit a cement around da window well and I stood der and meowed at H2 fur halp.
Guess wot herz not only did not halp herz laffed at me! Well I foxed her silly butt! I got ovah da trubble area afore herz could get any pikshurs of me meowin & tippy toeing around da bush (I guess it did look silly but herz coulda halped insted of laffin at me). Wot do u fink? Should herz have halped me or stood der laffin?

Rite back der iz where I wuz stuck! But I got thru even wif out H2′s halp.

Boy I did furget how much I hate dis white stuffs. Makes da paws cold.

The 12^th edition of the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, featuring the country's premier dogs vying for the biggest dog show prize in the world and special features like a ceremony honoring hero dogs, will air on ABC on Saturday, February 2^ndat 2 pm EST (check local listings).
AKC's Gina DiNardo and ESPN anchor Todd Grisham will share commentary duties during the broadcast of the National Championship. With DiNardo's life-long involvement in the sport of purebred dogs and Grisham's humor and enthusiasm, it will make for a fun as well as educational broadcast for all dog lovers.

"The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship offers the public the opportunity to learn more about each of AKC's 175 breeds and how the predictability of purebred dogs can make it easy to match a particular breed to fit your lifestyle," DiNardo said. "Viewers will be able to see each Best of Breed winner compete in the group ring, watch highlights from our Breeder of the Year and AKC Humane Fund Awards for Canine Excellence presentations, and much, much more. We hope you enjoy the show!"

Two new AKC-recognized breeds will make their AKC/Eukanuba National Championship debut during the broadcast – the Russell Terrier and the Treeing Walker Coonhound. Watch them compete during the broadcast and learn more about their history and function at www.akc.org.
During the broadcast, AKC will host a Virtual Viewing Party at 2 pm EST with behind-the-scenes tidbits on Facebook and a Tweet Chat on Twitter using the hashtag #celebratedogs. We gotted a late Xmas card from our pals ovah at Citizen Paine (a PR company I fink we werked wif at some point during da year). But it wuzn’t just a card it had a neat origami bird inside da card. And dat bird wuz a folded up $10 bill.

Da note inside the card asked dat we paw it forward. My first thought wuz I will just gib it to One By One (which of course we were intending to do next time we went ovah to an adoption day), but da universe had anutter plan fur us. We had da money in our wallet carryin all ovah da place (surprised H2 did not go and spend it by accident).

Den we gotted an email from The Buddy Rescue about Ellie Mae dat sweet looking hound doggy wot needed to hab surgery on both her ears. So we qwikly clicked ovah to der chip in and made sure dey got dat moneys. She still needs halp wif her vet bills (see my post about herz and please donate iffen you can). The folks at da Buddy Rescue r really nice people and do so much good fur da puppies wot need savin. I knows dey will be beary appreciative of any moneys dey gets. (dunt worry ma pals at One By One will still gets a donashuns frum us too….sides SCIFIpawty iz all fur dem)

Peanut iz Happy in Her New Home

OMC remember dat sweet lil Peanut ma pal rescued afore Christmas? Well herz gotted a beary lubbin furever home and her new human haz sended me an update on hers.

Peanut is doing great. A little over 3 months old now and getting big. She loves her sisters and playing and sleeping in the bathroom sink! LOL Our 14 year old has been playing lately, she has brought lots of energy and love to our home.

I am so beary happy dat herz not only gotted a forever home but sounds likes hers gotted a GREAT forever home. Look at des utter pikshurs of her fitting right in and gettin big and being lubbed.

I great BIG fank u goes out to da folks at One By One for taking Peanut in and posting her story on facebook so her new human could find her & adopts her so quickly. Peanuts story wuz a true Christmas miracle.

Peanut Gotted Her Xmouse Wish A New Home!

Dis is Peanut da week herz wuz rescued.

Remember a few weeks before Catmouse I did tell you about sweet lil Peanut dat ma furrend did rescue out of da alley behind her house? Herz wuz abused & thrown away likes trash, but ma furrend saved herz & took good cares of her until herz wuz old enuff dat we could askin ma pals at One By One Cat rescue to halp her.

Dey agreed to take her in to a foster fambly so herz could get used to people and utter kitties (ma furrend only haz doggies). Da weekend herz wuz goin to foster home wuz da first week H2 wuz doin Xmas photos fur 1×1 at Petsmart and Peanut came to spend da day. LOADS of people looked at her and lubbed her, but herz wus still not reddy fur a forever home (even tho herz wuz at da vets & dey sed herz wuz good and sweet and gibbed her owie shots).

Peanut even asked Santa Claus for a forever & ever home wif someone dat would ub her & not hurt her like dem mean humanz did.

Well da beary next Caturday wuz anutter adoption day & a lady wot seed Peanut on facebook wuz comin to meets her. Da human wuz beary moved by her sad story and her beary cute face.
Well both Peanut & da human fell in lub wif each utter & herz adopted Peanut dat beary day!
HOW PAWSUM IZ DAT? Peanut had a brand new home fur da holidays only affer a few weeks of being rescued from dat alley!

Not all kitties r dis lucky & many stay in da adoptions centers & foster care for a beary long time. Please consider making a new years resolution to halp dem kitties until dey gets adopted. U can make a single donation or even sponsor a kitteh out right.

Dis sweet pupper dog wuz rescued by da fine folks at The Buddy Rescue Foundation a few months ago from a “shelter” in South Carolina where herz wuz a bout to be put down (dis makes r hearts hurt dat so many anipals wot go into shelters never come out — especially in da south).

Years of neglected ear infections have cause her serious problems and now herz in NJ habbin ear ablation surgeries in both ears. Please keeps herz in ur pwayers today and we needs a #pawcircle dat herz not only gets better but gets a forever home affer herz all betterer.

It haz been a horrible howliday fur us. First we lost ma Pal Frugal, den Human1′s cousin did pass on the 24th and I come back to lern dat ma sweet fluffy furrend Cosmo haz also crossed da rainbow bridge.
Cosmo wuz one of ma firstest pals on Twitter & we did hab fun at pawties (he wuz a dancing fool)! Himz danced in real lifes too!
Human2 gotted to meet he fur reals at Barkworld down in Hotlanta where himz lived.
But dat wuz no da only time we met up wif he. When human2 gotted off da plane in Colorado for BlogPaws first fing herz saw wuz Cosmo walkin thru da airports.
Cosmo we hab so many loverly memories of you and will remember u always.

Human2 been playing dis game on ipawd. Okai so it not dis game exactly, but it iz Angry Birds Star Wars. I fink herz addicted to it. Wunner iffen I shuld call a doktor fur herz? But I digress…
We gotted dis fun game fur xmas. Yeah I gotted it early wot u gonna do bout dat? Wotz fun about it iz H2 & me can play it wif out H1 or any other humanz cause we not gots no friends wot likes to come play games wif us cause we big slackers.

It iz easy to set up but since it wuz taking so long to get the game reddy (H2 wuz doin utter fings too *shales hed*) I felled asleeps waitin to play wif ma new game. When all of da sudden dem birds and bricks comed flyin at me!

I fink I gonna hab fun thwokkin dem Star Wars lookin Angry Birds around so you better be careful Human2 wherez u leave dem.

I still see sum Stormtrooper Piggies so you did not wins da game yet! Keep tryin, but I am keepin dis Chewie Bird fur ma self.

Dis Angry Birds Star Wars Deathstar Jenga game iz kinds fun, but it iz more fur humanz and mehbe smaller humanz at dat. Altho me and H2 did hab fun wif it too.

Today I would likes to honor ma pal Frugal Dougal who did leave dis world a much better place just fur habbin been in it.

We learned last nite dat sweet Dougal would be makin da trip ovah da rainbow bridge and I sat wif Human2 and cried wif herz while we thought about how much dat little doggy across da ocean did mean to us. We neber got to meet he in real life but lub he just dat same.

He was one of da firstest pals to welcome me on twitter at a time when me and H2 really needed sum friends. Over da years he halped inspire me to action wif all da good werk he did wif pawpawty and halped me start ma annual ScifiPawty wif da halp of his staff.

I just knows hims staff is heartbroken as we all are.
Dougal you are ma hero & I will miss u ma pal.

I fink it wunnerful how we can halp feed dem anipals wif just a click (& a fun click at dat) every day. And to see dat all dem anipals will be getting tons of food makes dis kitteh PURR!
Here da infos on da Kibble Drop and how it happens. Plus I gotted some cool phtos of one of da drops in Bone Marche in St. Louis Park, MN where some beary happy peoples got to pick up some foods for der rescues. In total 7 organizations picked up a total of 13,000 meals of Halo Spot’s Stew pet food: Animal Ark Shelter, Midwest Animal Rescue, Homeward Bound, Morrison County Humane Society, A Rotta Love, The Pet Project and Steele County Humane Society. And dats just one Kibble Drop!

the nation will be looking and feeling their best, thanks to Ellen DeGeneres and a 16-year-old girl named Mimi Ausland.

second annual Holiday Kibble
Drop. The initiative will deliver 500,000 meals of all natural Halo Spot's Stew to pets in need across the country.
