Back to School

We dropped Dan off at college.

Our hearts ache but we know he is in a wonderful place.

Goodbyes are never easy.

Praying for a blessed Sophomore year and looking forward to meeting again soon.

Home on the Range

We had a fun week visiting Grandma and Grandpa on the farm.

Tractor rides with Grandpa.

Introducing Tiny Tim

We have a new pet.

We seem to collect them around here.

It's fun though, and the children do take very good care of their little friends.

Meet Tiny Tim!

Our palm-sized baby box turtle.

He's friendly, cute and seems to know he's stumbled on a good life.

 

The children enthusiastically researched box turtles. 

They created a very cozy habitat for Timmy.

He eats his veggies, cracks his snails on schedule, 

takes a daily bath and generally looks pleased with his surroundings.

A Boy and His Dog

A friend was downsizing and we are now the happy owners of a riding mower.

The boys and Dad can't wait to mow now - ha!

 Everyone is enjoying tractor rides.

 

It doesn't get much sweeter than this.

They are best buddies.

Bailey, our Golden Retriever, loves tractor rides.
She'll ride in the trailer or at the feet of the driver!
