Mercy

I got a call 15 minutes ago from home. I knew what that call was for instantly. My dearest and most loyal companion, Mercy just passed away peacefully. My heart broke into pieces. But then again, I am thankful God extended her life for the past one month. She has been healthy too and we did spend a lot of quality time together loving each other. I am very thankful. and this month, she has officially turned 14 aka 98 human age. She is already old but still so energetic and very beautiful. Before she passed away, she went into the house and peeped, I guess she was looking for us. But we were not there and she died on my mum's arm and in front of dad. I think that is a good ending of her life. Filled with love. She is such an amazing dog. Right now, there will be no life at my house's carporch and nothing for us to look forward to or welcome us when we come back. I am sure going to miss her. My companion and best friend for 14 years. I love you mercy. I want to see you agai...

Awestruck!

Something struck me this morning. When God has chosen you for a particular task, He would have placed His anointing upon you already. So don't act as a victim but a victor and be in partnership with the Holy Spirit! Wow! amazing love and assurance. There is nothing to fear anymore but only be still and know that He is God and He is in control =) it would be lovely if everything turns out sweeeeeet!

Random stuff.

Human mind is just too powerful. and apparently, the smartest inventor/scientist in the world only uses 1 to 2% of the brain capability! Imagine if we were to use it 100%! My brain usage is definitely less than 1 %. If only I could use it to the full potential, I bet I would be smart really smart fella!!!!!! What's the formula to calculate potential in physics again? Perhaps I should work from there and find out!  Although I know it is impossible, but why is my mind still thinking about it? But I can't wait and I am looking forward to it. Just don't put so high hope, less it all shatters and disappoints. Oh well, sometimes it is nice and fun to be hopeful! that's one of the greatest gift! Just imagine the joy of getting what you had hoped for! Insurmountable bliss =) But of course the disappointment would etch too. Oh wells, life is full of unpredictable events ain't it? Just enjoy the moment of hoping. Who cares what turns out  next? =p Yay!! Am lookin...

Love Story

My mummy fell sick today. She hasn't been feeling well recently due to severe backache which caused sleepless nights to her. And that is also why she didn't go to church today. So, after church dad and I came home. The first thing dad said when he reached home was, " I want to see how is my lao po (meaning wife) doing", and he went upstairs with a cup of water. That is so sweet right? I think my mum is the most blessed wife on earth! She secretly told me that she thinks dad loves her more and more these days. hahahaha.. with a veryy cheeky smile. you can imagine.  but they are both different people. total different personality and character. dad is solemn and wise while mum is like the party popper and she laughs reallyyyyy loud! mum is veryyy good at bringing people to Christ and inviting people to church while dad is good at discipleship. good match kan?  They are match made in Heaven and I am thankful for that =)

Games Night

I want to buy Taboo or whatever cool games and have a games night filled with food and laughters!!! Last Saturday I had a group of youths to my house for a slumber party! I think about 14 of us! Imagine how we squeezed together when sleeping =p. But it was so fun. We played Taboo, the new version of pictionary, truth or dare and all sorts of games. It was so so fun! We just couldn't let go of our games! And now, I am addicted to this kind of night =). I remember having lots of Games Night with the church in Germany. Random people gather and have food and drinks and just pure games =). With the debaters, it would definitely be the Murderer's Game, I miss those moments too. Anyone up for it? Hast du Lust? =)

Labour's Day

I wanted to commemorate my first Labour's Day in my entire life by being un-laborous i.e. rest. I needed it so badly and I am glad that I have it. It has been a year. A year of leaving university. The first day I stepped into working life (although as an intern) was 3rd May. Much has changed in this one year. And I am still transiting and adapting to my life as a young working adult. To be very honest, I struggle a lot. I know I am not the same Beatrice a year ago but do I like the Beat now? I haven't decided that part yet. But that is the cruel truth about life and growing up. It is painful but necessary. Growing up also mean change. Values, friends, priorities, belief system etc.. And to some extent, I do not like the change I am experiencing right now. But, then again, without change, without growing up, I will be akin to stagnant water. In science, stagnant river will cause eutrophication and it is toxic to the whole river body. Resistance to change is toxic to my life....
