Matt and I are full-time volunteers with a Christian Missions Organisation. What it means is that everyone who is volunteering here does not earn an income but we live by faith and believe in building relationship based supporters as God's work cannot be completed without the body of Christ' involvement. In Paul's life, testimony and missionary work you would see that he was given to and provided for wherever he went to. There are many costs involved besides living expenses that we need, especially ministry wise and would appreciate any form of financial blessing no matter how big or small. In saying that, I understand the limitations of your ability to give because of your own living expenses. I will be glad to share more if you would like to know.
A few suggestions of what helping us can look like:
- A monthly pledge given and committed over a period of time (or it can be to cover one day's worth of expense of the month or more)
- A one-off giving
- Giving towards one of our expenses monthly for example covering our communication bill and etc...it can be extremely specific or it can be as general as you would like
- Giving towards our ministry expenses OR
- Organising a fundraising event and dedicate the finances raised for our use (we would be glad to provide you videos/ppt or even brochures for that purpose if you need it)
